Pep remembers when Pep's Pops bought the fam's first B&W TV and attached an antenna to the roof. The antenna could pick up both Buffalo and Rochester stations and, if it was turned to the northeast, could pick up a Syracuse station. Exciting times around these parts.

Pep can't wait 'til webcasting comes out here in the hills... when will WALF and AUTV jump on the AU Pep Bandwagon?

Pep's karma dropping ... whodunit?

So its all about the Karma huh?

Not really about the karma. Just noticed Pep's karma was dropping; not accustomed to seeing that. AUKaz00's been taking hits, too, so it must be an Alfred thing. Probably the Danes, always a nemesis to King Al.

Our sister station, VIC Radio (vicradio.org) will also broadcast Saturday's game.  If the WICB online streams max out, please access the VIC streams.  Lee Small and Michael Berger will have the call.

On Sunday, join us for Sports Talk from 6-7 p.m. as we recap Saturday's Bombers football game with the key players live in studio.

Budcrew getting some WICB love.  Nicely done.  Now, how many times can you drop E8PP into your segment...we'll be listening and counting.

Foster: All right meow. Hand over your license and registration.

Foster: Your registration? Hurry up meow.

Driver: Sorry.

Foster: Is there something funny here boy?

Driver: Oh, no.

Foster: Then why you laughing, Mister... Larry Johnson?

Foster: All right meow, where were we?

Driver: Excuse me, are you saying meow?

Foster: Am I saying meow?

Driver: I thought...

Foster: Don't think boy. Meow, do you know how fast you were going?

Foster: Meow. What is so damn funny?

Driver: I could have sworn you said meow.

Foster: Do I look like a cat to you, boy? Am I jumpin' around all nimbly-bimbly from tree to tree? Am I drinking milk from a saucer? DO YOU SEE ME EATING MICE?

Driver: Yes sir.

Foster: Meow, I'm gonna have to give you a ticket on this one. No buts meow. It's the law.

Hopefully not at all -- I would hope we're talking about news and not posting.

If streams max out, you can also watch the game on D3Cast. It is a live retransmission of the ICTV feed, so it won't be anything Ithaca fans wouldn't be watching already, but it gives us the ability to push the game out to a larger audience.

The E8 Nation discussions ARE the news!

I submit there should be a reference to the E8 Nation during the broadcast.

"we'd like to welcome all of you to our showdown between SJF and that other team, and we'd like to take a moment to say hello to all of our faithful listeners in the E8 nation as well. I know they're waiting to see how many 500 yards Rob Kramer throws for today"

... something like that.

Enforcer,

Not sure why you ended up in MIYH's hometown, but as you probably know, it was a dry town until pretty recently, so the one bar is quite a step up from my childhood.  Mcann's is also pretty good if you're willing to take the extra 3 minutes to drive to Van Etten.  I'm assuming that's still open.

Pep,

I teach middle school.  Q's a high price lawyer (or at least in the making).  Who do you think is going to spot you airfare?!

NSRB,

The tap room is the Lehigh Valley House down by the turn to get onto 89.

Tap Room provides solid wings at a reasonable price... MIOH recommends it to the E8PP

Common Ground used to have a $0.35 special on wings Wednesday nights... then a lot of "non-common ground types" started to go... and they discontinued the special... in it's place is 1/2 priced hummus wrap night

All the food talk is making MIOH hungry for his Fish Fry this Saterday

In my frustration of watching the Mets try to get swept by the Nationals, I have drawn a parallel.  I feel JV softball is constantly facing Oliver Perez.  It's so tough to watch because it's either a walk or a strikeout.  Our team put six balls into play yesterday, only one left the infield, and still scored 6 runs.  We don't keep score because the girls are really just learning for the first time, but to watch both girls either merry-go-round the bases or walk back to the dugout because they struck out is brutal.

So the varsity coach decided that we'd hit the batting cages.  But first we have some local radio talk show legend coming for a little hitting clinic.  I think his name is Irv Brown.  Not sure if anyone's heard of him, but I guess he's done some Final Four work, and umped baseball (either at the minor or major league level).  None of the girls have any clue who he is, but the homegrown teachers are pretty stoked about it.

That is all.  I hate the Mets, and I hate watching girls not put the ball in play.
