just going out on a limb here... I'm wondering if maybe the Jewish Communities at IC and Fisher could hold half-time Yom Kippur services
Just think of the possibilities...

Kaz00 was reading his Alfred Sun last night and noticed at the end of the article about the Saxons win over the Saints that they are 9.5 point home underdogs to Springfield this Saterday.  That seems a bit high since we lost by 7 on the road last year and I would have handicapped the game as Springfield (-4) @ Alfred.

Does anyone know a site where D3 lines are posted?

I would think the only time lines are posted in a paper is when someone is actually taking bets on them.  Usually the paper lines come from one of 2 companies.  It usually says at the bottom or top of the lines which companies the lines come from.

I dont think these lines are real at all.  No one takes lines on D3 games.  I would have been betting on them a long time ago.  They would be ridiculously easy.  Those lines are just the hometown paper once again hating on their own team.  They're unreal.  They've done this for years.  They picked AU to finish last in '04, we ended up with 8 wins.  The following year they picked us to finish in 2nd or 3rd to last.  We finished with 9 wins.  The sun just loves to hate the football team.

Stupid naysayers at the Alfred Sun....it's nothing but a dirty rag....sort of like that Ithaca Urinal.

How does Alfred even have a paper?  Is there even a stop light in that town?

Thats not good.  How does the JV usually stack up against them the last few years?

Remember when that pretty-boy Cornell reporter made the mistake of sitting beside the FDC at the IC-Cornell scrimmage last year?  Hoo boy, that was fun.

Enforcer, what happened with that.  NSRB missed that event.  must have been a Dalaney-esque write-up after that experience.

Also, who is bringin' the Bombershot ingredients?
Whose got the grill and the food?
What needs to be brought?
Will there be more FDC shirts for new-comers?

will batman and robin escape the clutches of... wait a tick...  what am I saying?!  go bombers

ICemanJK

in regards to the shirts NSRB, we don't have any for this weekend unfortunately...
but Mr.N said he can get a box for next Saterday...
All hail the Booga

TheEnforcer

He just kept giving us dirty looks, the way so many Cornell students do.  I'll get stuff for Bombershots.

Yeah, Alfred has the Sun....they call it that because it only comes out once a week in Alfred. And, yeah, there's ONE traffic light. In fact, the town held a Traffic Light Festival in 2004 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its installation. See below:

and heck yes, the town is so dead in the summer that they hosted the international association of obituary writers this past summer:

This line might be a local creation but one site (maybe Don Hansen?) used to post who was favored by what amount for a handful of games - sort of like predicting the score.  They weren't intended for betting, but I guess they could've been taken that way.

When Pep was just a little pepper, the town rag carried the Harmon Forecast, which always included small college football predictions. The guy was good. When he died, he passed it on to his son who did it a few years but then sold out to cbssportsline.com That outfit has lost touch with d3football and it's turned into just another major college online forecast which is of little or no value. Tis a shame.

Man just tried to spread some cheer and anticipation for the upcoming game and I lose karma.  If it was because I was stomping on Yom Kippur's feet I wasn't aware that was tomorrow, truth be told I assumed it was a few months back when entourage aired an episode dealing around Yom Kippur.  I thought it was one of those things when a show tries involving real time events into the show (i.e. halloween themed show around october 31st, that kind of thing).  Guys need to lighten up on me here, I used to be everybody's nearest and dearest friend!!!! It seems as though I have turned a few people into Booby haters, can't we all just remember the good times?

+k booby... no hard feelings from this jew
