Frank,

Actually 1999.  31-7 Union

Yep - my bad - was wondering why I couldn't find it on my old site.  We started in 2000.

I just went through this site.  Very convenient.

BTW  Does anyone know if any Hartwick people post on this site?

Hello Fish91,

I just noticed Sat's SJF game is at Hartwick.  Not a bad drive for me, but the 7:00 p.m. start is a bummer.  AU's schedule is not good for me driving.  I have gone to Sp'fld in the past to see other E8 teams.  Plan on going to H'wick?

The irony about the wick game is that i work in Oneonta 3- 4 days a week the other 2 i work in Utica!
Its only an hour drive plus or minus to wick- so depending on the weekend follies that im sure will creep up i may sneak down!

I'm going to give it some serious thought.  But I don't like the idea of driving east into the Catskills after the game at night, due to the NUMEROUS deer.  I hit a deer two years ago with my car and it was not fun.

the only thing stopping me (besides a lengthy honey do list) is the 7p start.
you are right- waaaaaaaaay too many deer on the way home over the river and through the woods.

Though i do it normally during the week.

Actually I run a gauntlet of deer often enough on my trips to the golf course which is less than 5 miles away.  The deer also show their presence quite a bit on the course in the early hours.  Tis a beautiful site to behold!  However the bear *hit makes me a little uncomfortable.

Ouch-
Well i drive down to Otown for golf tourneys all the time- i guess this would be no different-
Now im going to try to free up the schedule!!!!!!

Haven't ever seen a bear on the course but I am told they can run faster than the golf carts.

There's no way that Welch's job is or should be in jeapordy, especially at this point.  Its way too early.  It's definately not outta the question for IC to go 8-2 the rest of the way, a very respectable season.  However, they could also go 6-4, but very doubtful.  My prediction, they lose one more.

Furthermore, maybe it is time that IC finally has to come down from that almighty hill that they have been atop for so long now, and come to the realization that there are teams out there that are not only closing the gap, but passing them.  I dare say that they have lost a lot of that luster that used to beat teams before stepping on the field and I think you have to give credit to Fisher for this.  They were the first team to consistently play them close and pull out wins in recent years.  The rest of the league is starting to stand up and take notice that IC is very beatable.  Maybe it isn't as much that IC is declining as it is that the rest of the league is getting better.

3 weeks are gonna make AU's season.  I just hope nothing stupid happens before those 3 weeks (see:Hartwick).

Paul Keeley- MVP     Aparrently he's pretty good.  He's gotta be a front runner right now, correct?  I know that Fisher has gotta have some athletes to put up against him, but you know i've gotta pull for my horse.

+k FA91 for the "college try" saying, I said that all throughout high school but strangely enough never in college.  Hope you go there and help make it a good turnout, I can't make it unfortunately so do it for the Boob.

Frank, is the old site no longer being updated?  Last I saw it had the Fisher pre-game from last year's playoff game.

chris7sarge,

Very well said.  As you well know AU has been working very hard the last few years. That work is payig off.  I have been impressed with the recruiting and the quality of players brought in over the past few years.  May AU play up to it's potential as well as our opponents in order to see some great football.

I'm out for the night, but I'm expecting some bullets to be fired back from the central NY area.  Back in the morning to see what kind of banter this instigates.
