Well, that about made my morning.  I guess that's payback for Superman's stupidity on here after the Ithaca/Hartwick game, and the guy in the Fisher tailgate area at Butterfield who started screaming at me " HAHA you lost to Hartwick."

Fisher fans should be used to horrible playcalling over the years in tight games.

Alfred in the driver's seat!

seriously...everyone was pretty calm after you guys lost to hartwick...I didn't say much at all...

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

I have to admire Hartwick's aggressive and at time questionable play calling last night. However, it seemed they wanted the win more then the Fisher coaching staff. The Fisher fans can go on and on about how the Hartwick's coaching staff tried to give the game away, however, in the end the Fisher coaching staff gave away the game.

Last night's win came down to Hartwick coaching staff, players, and fans wanting the game more. Not only does the win give Hartwick fans bragging rights and eye candy. It gives the Hartwick coaching staff tremendous recruiting fire power in the coming months.

Next week's game Hartwick @ Alfred is going to be HUGE. While I give Alfred a razor thin edge, I think Hartwick has the confidence, skill, and momentum to beat Alfred on the road.

If I am a Alfred football fan I would be a little nervous heading into next weeks game. Why? Number One: It is a huge distraction being undefeated on the season. Number two, Alfred hasn't truly been tested yet this season by anybody so far.

If I am a Hartwick football fan, I would be very excited right now. However, at the same-time I would be a little nervous about Hartwick being able to produce on the road. However, given the success of the Hawks the past three weekend the WNEC lose is becoming more and more of a fluke. Having some monumental success early in the season is a huge confidence builder for both the coaching staff and the players.

Pep is exited that Saterday's Homecoming contest with Hartwick suddenly can be billed as a clash of E8 unbeatens. Before the season, the Hartwick game didn't appear to have much draw. That has changed. Pep is hoping for a big crowd at Merrill Field and invites the Hawks to bring a band along, just for the fun of it.

Was that play a qb sneak or a draw from shotgun?

Don't know where you are going. That's my opinion shared by those I was with at the game. You have another opinion - I'll listen.

More of a straight run from the shotgun to the left. Was hit by about three Hartwick players just outside of tackle (more or less). Tried to get rid of the ball (lateral) to a receiver but was called down prior to the getting rid of the ball and it would have been recovered by Hartwick anyway.

Solid win for the Bombers yesterday over Brockport....the Bomber posters seem way too quiet. Brockport has shown improvement, with a win over Cortland to their credit. Pep wants to hear what the Bombers did to get back into winning form.

From a 37 year Saxon fan - - Congratulations and welcome to the fray, Hartwick.  Good to have you aboard.   Looking forward to Saturdays game at Merrill Field.   Should be a great crowd, with Alfred's Homecoming, and, I suspect, a traffic jam of fans from Hartwick.

Hey, Pep - get those band guys goin this week and call Mark O'Merra.  We may need him.  I've invited my family down for the game - few more screemers won't hurt.

Saxonglass: Welcome to the boards!

So long as you keep those screamers away from the microphone, they will certainly be welcomed warmly at Merrill Field. As for the band, Pep will do his best to muster the musicians...looking like Saterday's game is gonna be a battle for first place!

Absolutely.

Although the Sox tried to pull that off this year as well. If the Sox lost it, I'd have to give it to the Sox.
