Man it is dead on here tonight.

The chairman has been attacked by non-posting "drive-by" smiters...and probably stemming from Pep's response to hilarious posts by tecmobowler and Jonny Utah. Come on Fisher posters, lighten up, where's your sense of humor?

Wasn't me Pep, sometimes people just smite for no reason.  It happens to me, and I dislike it.

+k to try and restore balance in this chaotic world

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Pep thinks SJF should send its jayvee squad to Springfield and then let them take on Utica at home Oct. 27....heck, give the Fisher starters three weeks rest in preparation for AU.  ;)

Pep isn't so convinced that penalties can always be attributed to lack of discipline. One of the attributes of this team, in Pep's opinion, is the players are so motivated and eager (overzealous) to "make a play" that given wrong circumstances, they proceed anyway. If that's how one defines lack of discipline, then so be it. Pep thinks this Saxon team has so much heart that they'd much rather take a chance and make a hit than do nothing at all.

This talk about Fisher/Springfield is concerning, hope the Team isn't getting comfortable. The reason Sharp did so well in the first game last year was helped by the type of defense Fisher uses. Quick and reactive. That leaves backside lanes for cutbacks. Not sure of Sharp's condition but the defense better maintain it's discipline and close the backside. Offense should be able to score but the concentration on wide receivers and ignoring open tight ends will catch up to the offense if not this week then the Alfred game. Hope they get back to spreading it around to keep everyone involved and keep the defenses off balance.

Fisher needs to focus on Springfield. SC have to be sky high, this game can salvage this season for SC.

ok first off we are still only two weeks of losing to F'n Hartwick, so the players lost their ability to think past an opponent... Secondly anyone else watching Nevada-Boise State good game

AU Pep Band's webpage, thanks to Cindy, administrator of www.alfredfootball.com, is now up!

'Atta boy Pep!  Nicely done.

DP would bestow upon you the positive K, but DP does not yap enough to qualify.  My brother-in-law played football at AU.  I will let him know you have the site up!

Ohio Northern gets spanked 2 weeks in a row by a combined score of 68-6 and they are still ranked "16" ???

I can understand them maintaining a decent ranking after losing to MUC (although the blow-out score suggests that they were a bit overrated) but now they follow that up by getting smoked by Capital as well....

Check out their wins....they are not that impressive either.

Morning boys- just  a flash in the pan today----i love to look to the AU game as the E8 championship--and i think it will be---but lets not get ahead of ourselves!
SC will be bent out of shape and it is a long trip.
Get by that one and then worry about UC --then AU.
Well- worry about UC- no- just stay healthy.

BCS is out..

http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/BCSStandings

Ohio state at 1 and USF at 2.  The computers really like USF.

Don't sleep on USF.  I have seen them live twice and they are really f-ing good.  1-22 they are every bit as talented as UF.

It won't happen but, it would make my day for OSU to lose to yet another team from Florida in a Nat'l Championship game.

sjfclimbing, I agree except, read the prior few pages: I was already rebuked for suggesting that Fisher focus on SC...should be a cakewalk this week ;)

Just a little FYI for the E8PP community, the Alfred-Husson game appears to be starting at noon on Saterday instead of the 1 o'clock listed on D3football.com.  That means that when the pep band transitions from Merrill Field to the pep band BBQ at Kaz00's we can listen to the last hour of the Springfield-Fisher contest.  I will personally retract every negative statement I have ever made about the great state or citizens of Massachusetts if the Pride can knock off Fisher.
Check out the official card game of the AU Pep Band - Str8 Eight!

And I will be forced to admit that Maine is actually a state and not an offshot of Canada, if Husson can stay within 14 of Alfred

I'm just looking at Husson's website.  They dont look awful.  In fact, they have stayed with Hartwick and SC and blown out Norwich (granted not hard to do, but 44-0?) and Maritime college 63-7.  I hope this is not a trap game before the end-of-year-gauntlet that is Alfred's schedule.

+ K for end of the year gauntlet.

If the madness that is the BCS can happen then Ithaca still has a prayer at E8 5 way tie.
