Is there a possibility?  Sure.  Is it a strong possibility?  No.  I don't think it will have anything to do with AU and Wick.  It is just hard to get in with two losses.

Hoping that the way the sched has worked out that Fisher can rest some key players on Sat. against UC and use the bye week to heal up any nicks that may be there, also to get very in tune with the AU system via tapes.  Rest and homework should be a big plus going into the game on the 10th!

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

I believe they can do whatever they want.  Even coaches can live scout still I think......

the question NSRB would like to ask is... who would Fisher root for?

and MIOH, nice picture.
ps I hate Cortland.

fisheralum91

thats a good question-- on one hand you want them to have a loss, but on the other you want to have the E8 represented well.
Hmmm.
Decisions decisions.

chris7sarge

Just win!  Why would you want AU to lose?  Not that I care who you root for, but an AU win can only help SJF whether they lose or win against AU the last week.  Besides, after a tough loss this weekend against Utica Club, its gonna be hard to make the playoffs.

fisheralum91

Um- ok sarge.
i understand the win thing thats why i said it as another option.
The only loss that can be attributed to Utica Club is that of memory after too many of them..........

Not sure what good that would do them, what with IC playing at Hey Pride that day and all.  Maybe you meant Geneva?

fisheralum91

sarge musta had too many UC's

That was last night, and miller lite's while playing guitar hero on my buddy's xbox 360.  You guys ever play that thing?  Its unreal.  My fingers hurt today from rockin out so hard.
Anyways, it wasnt me that posted the driving to Ithaca to watch the Freds this weekend.
I will be in my backyard, cookin out and playing holy boards with the AU game over the internet pumping through my speakers as i celebrate with some beverage not nearly as good as an old fashioned Utica Club or Genny light.  Aw, the good ol beers up north.  At least i still get to listen to my boys win.

MIOH's imagination wont allow him to think that a 2 loss Cortland team will be getting in Over a 2 loss Bomber team that just finished running the table (after the Fisher loss) and Monkey Stomping them @ Butterfield.

DP thinks the orange dye on your hat is leaking into your brain.

If Cortland has 2 losses including the IC game, they go to the playoffs as a Pool A.  IC will compete for a Pool C.  The only game that matters on Cortland's schedule right now is this Saturday.  Win, and we're in. Lose, and we are probably out no matter what happens with Rowan and IC.

You know from experience how much fire you are playing with if you plan to sneak in with 2 losses...

The bombers would probably need representation on the selection committee to pull off something like that MIOH would guess...

hey pride

Are we sure a coach at the D3 level can be fired soley based on his on field performance (record)?  I dont think he can... if he resigned obviously thats different.

Sure a coach can be fired for on field performance.  It is college football.  Honestly, I know some people inside the program and have personal friends that played at Utica.  I've heard some things that are quite worrisome.  At Fisher, the players police themselves.  No drinking during the week, only saturday nights after games.  No drugs, go to classes, etc.  If rules are broken, the players on the unity council decide the consequences.  At Utica, its much different.  My friends, whom both started at Utica for 2 years, did whatever they wanted whenever they wanted.  Drinking everynight, even the night before games.  Never went to class, got kicked off campus, etc.
Until some discipline is adopted by the players, it will be hard to change things.  A new coach is probably exactly what they need.

DewCrew, I know your an alum so dont take anything I just said personally.  Just some things I've heard.

Well you just proved what i was thinking... none of what you stated is on the field performance... there was obviously something else going on behind the scenes there... so thank you for your non relavant info

I think you should look up the definition of the word "prove".

No I'm good...I know what it means

Curry 2nd?  Thats just crazy.  I'm kinda surprised Hartwick didn't slip in there.  Or Ithaca.

Me too... Delaware Valley...whats their story this year.
