Springfield's mistake was getting the field turf. I killed there offense

nah - That turf helped, but I think the rest of the league started to figure it out.  Also, they needed another back or two besides Sharpe to really run it the way they did with Cahill.

Watched we are marshal last night.  Very good movie.  However, watching a movie like that late at night the night before the game only gets me amped.  Saxon season starts today!

Springfield 14 Ithaca 7, 'bout four minutes left in the first

Springfield has scored on each of its first two drives. Ithaca took less than a minute to score it's only touchdown on a run by Jamie Donovan.

Ithaca drove down the field to answer Springfield, but Donovan just fumbled at the goal line and Springfield recovered.
