Pep, I gotta think you ability to meet out of towners will be seriously hindered by Cortaca.  We are all saving our nickels and dimes to head to South Hill and chant Cortland, Cortland, Cortland......

EDIT: Frank, I forgot to mention, this:

was one of the greatest lines in E8Nation history.  Hysterical for its truth and its understatement.  Well crafted Counselor.  +k.

P.S. Frank, do you know anyone that does Labor and Employment law in the Federal Court in White Plains?  I am looking for local counsel for a case.

Honestly, I don't know that it really matters if Crea plays or not.  SC's secondary is so bad, you could easily put up 50 points without every running the football.  That game is going to be like a pickup game in the neighborhood.  First team to not score loses.

Isn't he a key threat in the passing game also though? He splits out quite a bit doesn't he?

I think it hurts 'Wick if he's out.

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Outstanding first post.  +k and welcome.

Any E8 team- (except Springfield) go back with Ithaca 30 years-would very much like to see Utica pull it togeather. I find it easy to pull for any E8 team--great bunch of fans.

An IC alum or just an admirer of the program?

Admirer- My step brother was president of the alumni assn. for a long time.. I believe Ithaca has been the catalyst for the rise of the quality of play in all of upstate.I remember the indep. days-- casting around looking for competition.

Just the other day I posted something similar.  When we decided to drop the Indy status and join the E8 I was totally against it.  The teams in the league at that time were streaky at best, we had no AQ for joining, and scheduling them meant we would have to drop some pretty good opponents like AIC, Hobart, TCNJ, etc.  But, the league has turned out to be a pleasant surprise and is getting itself to a point where every Saterday your team has a good opponent.  Maybe this new coach at UC will turn things around for the Moosemen and we'll replace Norwich with a good former PAC member to really round out the league.

I posted a draft of a Primary Criteria priority system, where Winning Percentage is ten times more valuable than OWP/SoS.  What did you think?  If you were on the Selection Committee, would you advocate assigning priority to the Primary Criteria?[/b]  Given your public stance on OWP/SoS, I'd think that you would.

No.  It's too mechanical and doesn't necessarily allow for glitches in the numbers.

Your answer implies that you are content that OWP can be given weight equal to winning percentage or head-to-head.

My secondary squeamishness about the use of the term "priority" in the Manual is the possibility that the Selection Committee might assign different priority when evaluating different teams.  For example, when comparing one set of teams, a premium might be placed on winning percentage v. quality wins, whereas the reverse might be used when evaluating a different set of teams.  From some of the informed commentary after recent selections, I've had reason to confirm this suspicion.

OK.  Next topic.  Who wants some cheerleader pics?!  Oh, wait...wrong board. :)

not so rowdy bomber

NSRB thinks its a good thing he hasnt been on the boards lately.
too much Johnny -DRAMA!-

Pepster McBand O'wagon,   NSRB will be at the game come Saterday morning.  As for parking... not too sure what you can do.  Unfortunately NSRB didnt pay $100 to park therefore he has no pass to share.  We, of the FDC, kinda huddle around a couple spots we've called home usually around Enforcer's big Green pick-up Machine.  You're more than welcome to come join us for a Bomber shot or 7 and to get the introductions again, maybe the band could play some Pep tunes before the game for the Bomber fans and the folks in from Mayberry in the parking lot , but due to a mishap a couple weeks ago in the parking lot... the lot is on permanent lock-down.  No pass, no park (i.e. Bandwagon). (the visitors lot is just up the hill, before you get into the terraces lot) If you would like to question that, just take it up with the Boosters.

Look forward to seeing a good crowd Saterday.  NSRB is looking to keep the streak alive and to see a good game.

MIYH, please make me Admin on the FDC Facebook Group.

Who is fisher playing this week and where?

Cortaca is at IC this year correct?

If Crea doesnt play ... how much affect does that have on the Hartwick SC game... i think its huge... offense and special teams will take a huge blow without him.

Fisher has a bye week.

What's wrong w/ Crea?

I'm not sure i just know he hasnt played the last few weeks.

Yea he is a key threat from everywhere... run, pass, kick returns.  He is almost as versatile as Sharpe!  But he cant throw to himself
