IMHO - AU doesn't stand a chance next week.  No offense to Pep, Kazoo, saxon73 and the rest of the AU posters...but SJF has proven what they can do in the playoffs and next week is playoff week 1, not regular season week 11 for SJF.

SJF gets it done at home.

ok - I apologize if this seems late or off topic.  Computer is being a pain and I have been trying to post this for about 20 minutes....

SJFF82 - Love the quotes. +K.

Bosox...I think the issue is that most of the posters feel that SJF or others have better shots in the playoffs than 'wick.  You're right 'wick did what they had to do and in reality you can't take anything away from them because they did beat IC and SJF.  However at this point, with one week left, I think there is a majority of people that feel that the deserving bids in the E8 are (in order) SJF, IC, 'wick, AU.  This is not fair or objective but I imagine it is how most people feel.

all that being said, I hate agreeing with SJF guys and in the long run, 'wick has probably done enough to get in over the rest if they take care of business next week.

However, I think that the E8 in it's awesomely competitive season has made itself a 1 bid conference.  I hope I am wrong on that.

Good post ... i'll pretend to give you a +k

Jonny...Right now I would have no Idea who could win the LL because of how up in the air it is....UofR could win it in which case do we see the NCAA send UofR to Fisher or is that too much of a home game for UofR

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

I assume Hobart would take care of business at UR and slide in as the LL champ. Could be way off though, not following that race too much.

They could send UR to SJF but recently the ncaa has paired up teams that havent played before.  But if the other games have long travel distances, you could see a UR/SJF game in the first round....

Hobart looked good today...though they had a hard time running the ball

so Hobart at U of R this week? man... good games this weekend

realistic

both weekends...and really the whole season.  The east really proved itself this fall.  I was talking to a buddy of mine that played at Mary Hardin Baylor and we thought that this might be one of the first years in recent memory that the east isnt the 4th region.

don't know if that will end up being the casebut it was interesting to have that conversation last week with a guy from the of the "better" regions.

This is a good point - we should take the strength of our region this year as a step forward and a sense of accomplishment.

We really have no idea how strong the east really is though.  Its funny how the whole strength of a region is sometimes determined by a final four game. (SJF/MUC last year and Rowans stagg bowls in other years)

admirals_vt

OK the admiral finally got something to eat. Who wants to talk about the game today. To be honest I didn't think that Hartwick played a very good game today. Yes they won, but they have got to learn how to put a game away(via play calling and execution) the way SJF, IC and AU do when they are rolling.

I guess I was talking more about teams in the regular season starting to step it up - I agree we as a region need more success in the NCAA's to continue to move forward.
