Pep, I will admitt, that some of the chants coming out of the student section were because they were drunk...but I must say I thought the Fisher Reject chant to Keely everytime he through an Incompletion was quite funny... I was in their trying to get the swearing to stop but it is hard when you are the only sober one.... and I also think it's just like Fisher fans felt towards the FDC you don't like getting chanted at but it's part of the game.... In my mind you should chant and heckle with out using the f word or the b word or any words like that but in my mind it's all in fun....

and there were several of the BYOB fans who were extremly obnoxious

Upstate, why did you not like the Fisher Reject chant...In my mind I think that it is a student sections job to try and get into the head of an opposing player.... In my mind I still have the utmost respect for Paul and understand his decision and I know that he chose to leave because he was not happy, but in a game it's all fun

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Super, if he got booted for grades or something else I could see the reject chant.  He choose to leave because he wasnt given a fair shot at the QB job.

D3Football is now projecting Ithaca to make the NCAA playoffs as a Pool C.  That is a tremendous turn of events.

I'll be supporting my boys in ECAC play next week.  But if Ithaca gets in, and is still around in Round 2, you will have my full support.
Justin Bieber created 666 false D3 identities to give me negative karma.

What does the "reject" chant even mean?

Upstate I understand that, and I have the utmost respect for his decison because it must of been a hard decision, BUT when you are a star qb, you should expect those comments and chants....I know the student section is small but it was a clean chant just trying to get into the qb's head

I would be interested to see what members of the FDC think of the Fisher Reject chant directed towards Paul keely

I don't know about all that - I'd rather have Kramer anyway to be honest.

He left after his freshman year, apparently he thought that he would not get playing time as there were a lot of QB's already in camp

Let's not spend the day dissecting how Keeley leaving came about. The bottom line is over the last two years we've had great success without him, and quite frankly he still hasn't won the proverbial "big game" (maybe, maybe Fisher in '05 but wasn't w/ the NCAA's on the line).
Let's be honest, his game yesterday was shaky at best.

... I propose we gear up to discuss what's about to happen in 15 minutes!
