WICB presents its 2007 Division III Selection Sunday Special tonight at 6 p.m. on 91.7 FM Ithaca and www.wicb.org.  We will recap the Bombers' win over Cortland yesterday and look ahead to the first round playoff berth with Mount Union.  Bombers head coach Mike Welch will join us on the show along with senior strong safety Ryan Terlecki.

We will also be looking at the other Empire 8 teams in the playoffs and their match-ups, and we'll be joined by d3football.com's Pat Coleman and Dick Kaiser, the chair of the Division III Football Committee.

I think Ithaca can give them some trouble.  They're playing thier best football right now which is a good thing obviously.  If Juvan and the offense can put up some points, you never know.  The problem will be stopping Mounts high powered attack.  At times, the IC defense seems shaky.  Plus the 3-4 does not match up well against a powerful running attack.  The nose Byers needs to have a BIG game.
