I think Plymouth has a serious gripe.. their only loss it to 11-0 league champion.
There is no trash talking here Frank.  This is just good discussion.

Again, No disrespect to the Bombers but the E8 with its champion being Hartwick should have only gotten two spot.  I realize that ST John Fisher played MUC tough but they are in and the #2 team in the E8.
But the Bombers lost to both, sorry.
So Montclair with its 8 - 2 record is not scratching its head?
The whole idea of the AQ years ago was inclusion.  Tying up 3 of 8 slots to one league, which has not produced a national champion since 1991 is over the top.
Now with the undisputed info on Hartwick, once again 110 points allowed in two games,  and all I do not see how the e8 is being viewed as a league worthy of two pool c bids.
Usually one pool c bid is confirmation of the strength of the league.

And as for the poster who said I know nothing, on this discussion only the late Bob Deming and a sort of others are more informed.

It is about inclusion in the new style NCAA tourny.

Montclair 8 and 2 scratching their head?  Why ... they got crushed by cortland... and Ithaca at 8 and 2 dominated Cortland.

Yes, this Plymouth win caught my eye....

You can say what you want but this is solid discussion.

I will admit, if Curry does not win than the NEFC has no leg to stand on and can not complain about the sole slot in the tourney.

Mel, the NJAC didnt get 2 teams for the same reason the NEFC didnt get 2 teams.  The E8's 3rd best team beat the NJACs 2nd ranked team by 3 touchdowns.  And now you want to take the 3rd NJAC team over the E8's 3rd best team?

And the point of the AQs across the NCAA wasnt to "include" the second or third best teams from various conferences.  It was to make sure each conference had at least one bid into the playoffs.

if thats a win that catches your eye than thats a problem... a loss there should catch your eye like it does for Hartwick.  Remember if Hartwick didnt win the AQ the loss to WNEC would have kept them out of the NCAA's

Maybe next year Plymouth can play an E8 or LL team instead of Mt. Ida.  Then they can start complaining.

One more thing about Hartwick.....

Ive seen that offense they run.  Thats an offense that you get better at as the season goes on.  Kind of looks like it too by the games they played.

Gotta say, I think the whole chanting this is great, especially when it is against you.  I think I always played better when I had the feeling that everyone hated me.  Not a big fan of being nice.  I know that they are still d3 athletes that dont get paid or have scholarships, but it shows one's testicular fortitude, if you will.

+k ... I agree.

RE: Keeley vs. Kramer

If my math is right, here is how each did in the last 2 games they faced each other...

Kramer 434 yds 5 TD - 2 INT.
Keeley 535 yds  2 TD - 5 INT.

I vote Kramer.

Ultimate team game.  Its hard to compare with just numbers in football.  Scenarios (i.e. starting field position) play major roll.

If it matters, I think yesterday's MVP was SJF's punter

Wow, what a weekend.  Thanks to maxpower for the continuous Cortaca text updates while I was at a wedding.

Been looking at pictures of the game online today.  Here is my favorite so far:

Looks like the FDC has sure grown.

On to Alliance.  This should be an interesting week.

Are you looking at Tampa to Cleveland or Canton flights?

I'm going to say it early and often this week.  The East Region PPs have achieved a large level of mutual respect over the last three years.  Whether or not we think Ithaca has a real shot against Mount Union, the issue here is to promote healthy competition and further respect.  That's how RPI and St. John's fans have become such friends since 2003 -- and how SJF and Mount Union fans have shared some good tidings since 2006.

Long story, short...Trash talking here serves no purpose.  Play a great game Saturday, Ithaca and Mount Union -- and make some friendships that will span time and Division III.

Smart choice of words.  You must a lawyer or something.

Guys, lets be honest though, Fisher brought this on themselves.  If we had beat Hartwick like we should have, we would definately be the #1 seed in the East.

No we wouldn't.

If we're being honest, they didn't want to put Whitewater & MUC in the same region. They want that game for later.

Yes.  They would have been #1.  No way a 10-0 Fisher team, who made it to the semi-finals last year and gave Mount all they could handle, wouldn't have been IMHO.

I agree with FA05 on this.  With the parity in the East no team jumped out as a top seed and Mt. Union makes more sense than Welsey as the top seed.  And my favorite posters from the last 20 pages are definitely FA05 and Max.

Wow..I cannot believe what I am reading!!!! MU puts thier pants on just like we do. Are they good? Hell yes.. Can the E8 compete with them? Hell yes!!!! If Ithaca, Fisher, or Hobart Plays the way I know these teams can play we can beat MU. This defeatist attitude will not make you a champion. If you already lost in your head you lost on the field.

Difference between winners and losers. Winners will not be beaten!

This concludes my sunday sermon.. ;D

T-minus 20 seconds before MUC fans flood the E8 Nation to say "hey good luck, but honestly, you know you'll never win"

Plus, now we'll have to deal w/ these clowns:

Those are the homos that make the youtube videos.

Jeez guys, honestly can we lay off the slurs on here? I don't come on here to bristle at anything but Fisher fans...

+ karma for your comment maxpower--it's too bad that some idiots have to lower themselves to using slurs instead of presenting decent arguments.
