Super, looks like you may be changing that avatar...

TYPICAL... I was starting to have a little bit of respect for the yankees in dumping AROD... but now look at them COMPLETELY go back on their word... let the AROD curse live on

BOSOX, read the stories, AFraud came crawling back to the Yankees with his tail between his legs.  Plus the Yankees told him they would negotiate with him only, not Boras.  I would rather they let Afraud walk away but I like the fact they called Boras hand and he had to fold.

The Yankees basically said they would not get into a bidding war with other teams should ARod opt out.  It looks like he's settling for less that the 30 mil offer the Yanks were going to give him if he didn't opt out, plus it looks like ARod will be paying back the 21 million (Texas money) over time.

Simply the Yankees did not bid for his services.  ARod realized that Boras was making him look bad.  I realize that had there been a 300 million or more out there, he was gone.  ARod is not as altruistic as sounds, but he would miss being a Yankee.

Now I like his production and if he signs it means the Yanks keep their young pitching, but he got a long way to go before I consider him a true Yankee.

The Fisher boys will be sporting Mohawks for the post season once again.  I love it!!

Well if all you fisher guys are TRUE fans you would follow their lead

haha.  I'm not so sure my job would allow me to have a mohawk.  But, it would be pretty sweet!

+k BoSox

I'm sitting hear laughin thinkin of all you guys going to work with balding mohawks

lewdogg11

I just shaved a mohawk down the crack of my ass.  It looks sweet when I bend over and look in the mirror.  Kind of looks like New Jersey.

He'll be alright. Its all the old azz pitching breaking down in the playoffs, that have really hurt the Yankees.  The young arms should change that.

superman57

I will boo him loudly and proudly...hopefully they make aplay for Johan

and a fisher national championship

Well...Atleast you'll get one of those...

fisheralum91

since the sox already won all the marbles---ill choose the first national championship!!!!

JQV

with A Rod essentially off the market, it  will be interesting to see if the Sox fall back in love with Mike Lowell.

fisheralum91

im sure most sox fans would agree that it was lowell that was the mvp for the season not just the series---pay the man and get him back on the team!

LOL.  Thats a horrible mental picture, but I am laughing nonetheless.

I don't think they were ever planning on going after A-rod that hard.

They made Lowell what is a strong offer in their eyes - Theo can be pretty rigid, so we'll see.
