Am I incorrect in the assumption that Juvan is only a slightly above average QB?

I think Juvan may have the most physical ability/natural talent of any quarterback I have seen in the last 7 years. He is a big strong kid with a cannon for an arm. For some reason however, he has just seemed to find a way to be more average than great. Weather it is the wrong read, or just missing open recievers at times, he has struggled more than a player like that on a team like that should the last two years.

Now, having said all that. The last 5-6 games this year, from what I can tell (I did not watch all of the games or follow them more than normal), Juvan looks like he has maybe turned a corner and is starting to live up to his potential.

I think the best way to describe him thus far is slightly above average as a QB. But the potential is there for a huge season any time he is the QB at ithaca.

Superman57--Let's see if we both make it to the game before we start making those kind of predictions.

I don't have the IT knowledge to do the picture thing, but if I could figure out how to post pix, I would post Fisher as the Witch of the East and Mount as the house that is about to land on her--but I don't want to make any statements like that until we're both in the game!
Reloading--Again, and again, and again....

Yeah if I were fisher I wouldn't be too quick to overlook Curry.  While the smart money would have Fisher crushing them, we still don't know all that much about them at all.

superman57

not overlooking, just confident enough that Fisher is the last team in the east that can give mount a run for their money... If it is not Fisher in Alliance on Dec 1st... then they might as well start heading to Virgina next week

Damn you're good Guru!

Each scoring drive averaged 45 seconds, to be exact.  Fisher will have their way with Curry is my thought, as Hartwick just folded from the opening kickoff forward.

i wouldnt be so sure... sjf is a stud of a team and will most likely win the game but i think Curry will suprise some ppl and keep the game closer then most people will expect... the game is going to be focused on Curry's D who forced alot of turnovers this season and set up a short field for the O all day against Hartwick... if Curry D can hold sjf to 21 pts or less they have a real shot at winning the game... if they cant and the size and depth of sjf (which is bigger then Curry has seen all year) wears down their D then this game could get ugly

SJF D has just been dominant and i dont see Curry gettin more than 21 off their D the way they have been playin of late ... SJF is too big up front to run against and they have one of the best if not the best secondary in the East - mount union included since they are in the bracket

Who is Gregory Sager??

Gregory Sager is a North Park (CCIW) grad who has seen as much D3 competition, especially Hoops as anyone in the country.  He has an encyclopedic recollection of D3 players, coaches and teams from the last 30 years.

Keep St. John Fisher to 21 or under is going to be a tall task and something nobody has done this year.  While the Fisher offense is prone to struggling at times during games they manage to break through one way or another.  Hobart held them to a season low 24 points last week, but Fisher had 3 uncharacteristic turnovers all within the red zone.  I am excited to see Curry in person, can't wait until Saturday
