Ha, I'm not changing it '91, no worries.

It was great to see you make it out to so many games this year man, hopefully we'll be seeing you for one or two next year as well.

fisheralum91

Im def going to be back!
I was still hoping that i could sneak back for the curry game- but that looks like an impossibility---i am still trying though.
I hope upon hope that this wasnt my last game this year.
If so- i have had the best time with all the fisher family and i wish you all the luck in the future.!
wow- what a downer.
sorry-
GO FISHER!
If im not there at the game ill listen and scream at home!

I was thinking yesterday about the IC Mount game and I tried to decide how that relates to Fisher and their chances.  I'd say Fisher's D is at least worth one less TD?  And their Offense is worth 7-10 points better than IC's?
That give's ya a 28-35 score.  Now that means with maybe one or 2 right bounces of the ball fisher could win, right?  Am I grasping at straws or is anyone else actually excited by the way IC represented the E8 and how their performance relates to the league/playoffs.
On the other hand, Wick didnt do the E8 any favors.
AU (I know you're all thinkin irrelevant, well maybe) also represented well.
So I'd say we were 3/4 on the weekend.
The only reason I even bring it up is because I hope the Wick loss doesnt erase all chances of the E8 getting another 3 bids anytime soon.

sarge-
many of us were suprised at the score of the wick game and how lopsided is was early.
i for one was hoping for a rematch, but now want to just watch fisher steamroll curry and get to muc without many dings.

Sarge-

I think you're right about Fisher's shot at MUC, and I think Ithaca had a great showing out there.

Alfred's pounding of Rochester can't hurt the E8 (although not NCAA's)...

I think the 'Wick loss hurts bad, and highly doubt there will be 3 teams coming out of the E8 in the coming years because of it.

fisheralum91

the wick loss hurts, if for anything else it let the nefc off the hook.
too bad it had to come at the hands of wick.
the ....gulp......e8 co champ.
but- here is to hoping that fisher rolls and gets to alliance!!!

chris7sarge

As soon as I saw that Utica/Wick score, I was a little anxious about how the E8 would be repped, especially vs. a league that has never wone.  Just makes us look that much worse.
The bright side- maybe our boy Walsh (?) will be back to tell us how good the D is.

theicdubbz

Wicks loss proved that they were a flash in the pan and every other year they could potentially have a good season since they play 2 outta the big 3 at home.
I think this year the E8 got three bids because of the LL's debacle, the NJAC being the NJAC and IC being soo good down the stretch.  Wick wont be back to the playoffs on an auto bid any time soon that is for sure.  If it had came down to choosing between Wick and IC for the last spot (putting the ic defeat aside) the commitee would have chosen IC.  'Wick just isnt respectable.

Hey Tags,

Instead of your picture of Garcon lying on the ground, why don't you show Kmic rushing for 371 yards? Remember, Mount did win the game!

Good point, I'll change it right away.

Pep prefers you keep that pic just as is, as well....#1 going down. Could be a premonition.
On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!
...Fight, fight for Alfred, A-L-F, R-E-D!

fisheralum91

well said pep.

lets hope for a rematch in alliance!!

Well if you're giving Fisher's offense 7-10 points over IC's, I don't know if that transfers directly to the Mount Game. People at the game said that a) you just CANNOT run on Mount, Donovan or no, and b) Juvan looked like Felicetti in his prime in that game, not to mention Ithaca's receivers are better (Hogan notwithstanding). Now Fisher's line will help their running game, but Juvan was already better than Kramer, so it seems to me like Fisher's offense is pretty on par's with IC's at this point. No more Robinson, remember, and if Fisher had played IC last week instead of week 3, well...

Although, considering how many opportunities IC was given and missed to make the game close next week, you could be right.

Also I know you're not a Fisher fan, but you guys are looking WAY past Curry right now. Karma! (Not the PP kind.)

fisheralum91

i dont think that most of us are looking past curry at all.
we just see what is on the horizon as a distinct possibility.

Kramer is a different Qb than DJ, Kramer can make the big plays and he's not going to lose you the game...Jimmy Smith and Tim Marrion are very hard to stop as his Harmon

True story!  But i'm allowed to cuz I'm not a SJF fan.  But agreed, we should all focus on Curry.
