I know that fisher cant make the mistakes that they did this past sat.
those fumbles were killers.
game should have been a blowout.
some of the calls were killer ie--sideline warnings.
ouch.
put together an A game- vs curry or muc --whoever--fisher will be tough to beat.

Juvan had a great game, no question, but he's not any better than Kramer at this point.

Hanson & Reile will keep them just as honest as Donovan did if not more.

Receivers are better? I'd put Smith, Harmon, and Marion up against whoever Ithaca has to offer.

I like the Fisher passing game just as much as Ithaca's.

Let's not get to bogged down in that though - the bottom line is that Ithaca showed you can play with MUC, and Fisher will if & when they get there.

As an Ithaca fan I've thought that Kramer has always had more pocket presence than Juvan, and certainly better touch on the ball.  I'd rather have Kramer in the Red Zone for sure.

Fisher's tight end should be a real weapon for them.  He's darn good.

I've never been impressed at all with Fisher's WR's.  Maybe I've caught them at the wrong time, but the times I've seen them they haven't looked too special.

A major plus for Fisher should be the Stepnik/Garcon matchup.  Ithaca just doesn't have that that big, fast cornerback.  Losing Lang will be a step back from Fisher's defense last year.
Thousands of fans join in the revelry, showing their Bomber pride and support for the football team. Some fans take the rowdiness a little too far, however, by starting fights, damaging property and tipping Port-a-Potties. -Ithacan, November 10th

Tecmo I really do think you've caught them at the wrong time because Jimmy Smith is no joke, if he had the athletic "go up and get it" ability that Noah had he would edge Noah as the better receiver because as of right now he is faster and runs his routes extremely well.  Marion is also a solid WR, the biggest problem this year it seems to me is actually Kramer.  Countless times he has overthrown or underthrown and he didn't do that last year and I have not figured out why that is.

Lastly the Stepnick Garcon matchup while it does help Fisher to have one of the best DB's in the Country (if not the best) when it comes to pure speed I saw a couple of occasions when Garcon got at least 4 steps worth of seperation from Stepnick on the longer routes.  Stepnick helps Fisher the most with his pure tackling ability when other players break through suck as Kmic, he will seek them down and stop the bleeding.  I think his best chance against Garcon would be to use his strength (I know Garcon is strong but I would say Stepnick has the advantage there) and jam Garcon at the line before he can sprint ahead and get that seperation, allowing our D-Line to put the pressure on the QB in the process.

I agree with Booby about Kramer and will go even further.  I have always thought Kramer was just an average quarterback that benefitted from one of the better running games in the last 10 years.  Take away that incredible running attack from last year and Kramer has shown his true colors.  The running game last year kept defenses so honest that even superman (who grew up playing soccer with girls) would have had a passer rating in the 90s.

So who will I get to meet from SJF this weekend?

Frank will you be a spectator or calling the game?  Because if you are walking around a crowded place such as a Fisher playoff game you might very well run into a booby.

Also Jose don't get me wrong Kramer does have his moments of brilliance, and he is a surprisingly good scrambler and creates something on broken plays.  I wouldn't call him average, I have just seen at times where there are throws he can make but for one reason or another he doesn't deliver it to the right spot.

After watching Kramer last year in the semi's...and then Juvan last Saturday...based on that limited experience watching them both I would have to say Juvan was/is better hands-down.  He really stood in the pocket and made great reads for the most part.

Last year Kramer appeared to have happy feet, and let's face it, those feet don't move that quick!  He missed some wide open receivers in that game.  Now he may be markedly improved this year, so I guess we will have to see if both Mount and SJF can win this weekend.

s_s I think Kramer has actually regressed since last year.  It is really hard to blame him though, he had that running game to hide behind.  He is a solid qb but nothing to write home about.

I heard the same things you are writing about DJ's pocket presence on Saterday.  It is getting us all fired up for 2008 already.

If Pep didn't know for a fact that it's no longer there, Pep would say Kramer has spent too many hours at DanDee Donuts in his hometown of Oneida....a late nite pitstop for Pep in his college days at Moo'ville.

Gentlemen:

First of all to compare Kramer and Juvan is a joke in my book (although it is a very biased book)
Kramer has gone 4-1 in the playoffs and Juvan has only seen 1 post season game in the same amount of time.  The only reason you guys were seeing Kramer have happy feet last year was because for the entire game, he barely had time to pass.  Anyone that was there saw that he was getting to the back of his drop and then being hit.  HOWEVER, when he did get time to throw, he made absolutely huge plays that kept us in the game ( the out pass to Smith that broke and the pass down the middle to Reile that set us up for a TD).

So to say that Kramer is comparable to Juvan in my humble opinion is a joke, the only reason people would think that is cause DJ looks like a stereotypical quarterback while Kramer,  well..... doesn't.
Being able to throw the ball 60 yards and be 6'3 doesn't make you a winning quarterback automatically in any level.  Kramer is a leader and is cool under pressure, I'd take him over any other quarterback in the D3 game right now.

edit: This is not me coming out of the closet and confessing my love to one, Rob Kramer, just stating my point now that I finally got to read PP's on a night off ;D
