yeah i know, just wishful thinking wishing he wasnt associated with us...

old ends

He seems to be  very strong in expressing himself. Defends himself and his team very well.

Great game for Fisher today.  Though I would like to see them capitalize on offense a bit more when in the opponents territory.  Defense is looking very very good.

Losing Stepnick really hurts.  But we have some depth at defensive back so hopefully it wont kill us.  If our defensive line can slow down the MUC rush attack, we will have a chance to win I think.

Evening boys!
Great seeing the usual characters today!
Im afraid this is the end of the line for the live games for fa91 for this season, but what a hell of a ride!
To all the fisher faithful- thank you --it has been great.
And give them hell in alliance!
I hope everyone heals VERY fast, and make the e8 proud!
Good luck and god speed!

Too bad TCNJ couldn't have given MUC a tougher game.  It would have been nice if MUC was a bit banged up and tired for next week.  My optimistic early prediction (which I'm sure the MUC posters will rip into):

Fisher   24
MUC     21

CONGRATS SJF......never really doubted the outcome.

Tough break with Stepnick he makes a pretty big difference as a leader....

MU gave up three sacks in the first Qtr. today.....have to get out in front and get them passing....hate to state the obvious, but if their O-line handles your D-line when they have the ball....this might get ugly.

Represent the East and the E8 well boys!

Prediction:

SJF 31
MU 28

Move Mount Union into the E8...permanently
"We bust ours so we can beat yours..."

Since we are making early predictions (and to balance out the force):

MUC 49
SJF 21

I like the prediction.  Hopefully, the MUC offensive line will have trouble with the Fisher defensive line.  We have a 360 pound nose and another excellent tackle, plus a very good pass rusher in Pollock.  FA05 thinks rushing yards will be much tougher to come by as compared to last year.

MTU is more balanced this year than last.

In 3 quarters of play Greg Micheli was 18-25 for 354 yards today.  TCNJ concentrated on Garcon and Kmic and Bryson Davis had 6 receptions for 188 yds and 3 TDs.

I haven't seen them play live this year and also haven't been following SJF so I won't make any outrageous predictions, but I think this year's team is overall better than last year for the Raiders.

I was able to attend last years playoff game vs. SJF and was impressed so hopefully it will be another good game.

Congrats and have a safe trip next Saturday to all who plan on attending.

This seems to be the sentiment for most that follow MUC football. That this year's team is a better version than '06.

I was just curious to know, how many people that follow SJFF think this year's team is also better than last season?

kirasdad, well said.  +k

It seems that MUC is more balanced than last year.  Fisher defense is also better this year than last year.  Hopefully we will have a close, well played game next weekend.  Good luck to both teams!

SJFFan,

I would say our offense is a little worse than last year without Robinson.  But our defense is definately better.  So, all in all, I would say the Fisher '06 and '07 teams are pretty close.

I am inclined to agree with you - as good as the two RBs have been this year, it is hard to be better when you lose a player like Robinson.

Let's cut all the BS and get down to it:

"this year's MUC team is way better than last years" blah blah blah --- We have all we need to know in how Ithaca fared vs. MUC in Rd. 1

The bottom line is we will give these guys a ballgame, there are no questions.
