Best strategy is to hope for a blizzard that halts all offense. Then maybe both offenses will only get 60 yards.

Ithaca was down 35-12 after 3. Hardly a near miss.

Ask yourself this, how likely is a team to only score 26 points with a guy rushing for 350 yards? How many times have you heard of that? Last time was lucky to be as close as it was. It won't be this time.

your posts are out of control.  and you're annoying.

Do you really think that's not the most likely scenario for Fisher to win? Sure winning another way is possible, but if they can't get the ball to Garcon and can't get traction to block for Kmic, that sure helps in slowing them down. And they're probably going to play excellent defense themselves, so any help you can get stopping them would be very...helpful.

Looks like the snow will be a day late though.

Just like the weather in Pittsburgh tonight...

KS thinks he will stay in the east from now on.  No matter what gets posted or how civil it is, some Ohitian gets bent out of shape by what is said.  Methinks they doth be to sensitive in Ohio.

If Stepnick can come back and play anywhere near full strength that is a big plus for Fisher. The kid is just really good. He can cover anyone, can come up and make a hit, and can spy the QB/RB when necessary.

I have beeen looking into the trip to Alliance this weekend, any tips from the MUC fans about where to eat/stay this weekend?

Just make sure you get there early, they roll the sidewalks up and close the state at 6:00 PM.   ;D  Just kidding Ohitians.

I got the rolling up sidewalks from John Denver song, Toledo Ohio.

The last line of the song is classic but not PC.  "Heres to the dogs of Toledo Ohio, Ladies we bid you goodnight."

Any thoughts about seating? I went last year and I didn't seem to have too much trouble finding somewhere to sit. One complaint... we did have to enter in the far corner as if we were being shunned where as the home team faithful were all but escorted in the front entrance....

Anyway - I'm planning on driving down Saterday morning (against my brother's wishes). So far there's no word on a student bus but I can't imagine there not being one - last year it wasn't announced until Thursday morning. I'm just wondering how early I'd have to be at the stadium (assuming I'm missing out on the tailgating festivities... ;))

Actually I think our kick return coverage is pretty horrid, they seem to break through the first wave with relative ease and I personally counted at least 10 times this year where if not for Stepnick getting to the return man, they might have taken it back for some serious damage.  And I think Garcon does some kick returns?  If so that's not a good scenario for us.

MUC has Garcon, Kmic and an all-conference d-back deep for their KOR (3-deep)

Quick refresher on Garcon, for those who might not know how he rolls:

Im very suprised that Don Brown at Umass (Norwich Grad and former Plymouth St. coach) didnt get his hands on Garcon.  Something wierd about the whole Mt. Union thing.....

From the sounds of it, Garcon wanted nothing to do with Norwich when he high-tailed it out of there.  His M.O. has appeared to be the NFL Draft since that point, and MUC probably was an easier route -- outclass all other opponents with superior skill so that comparisons to other players are somewhat tough to make and then hope for a few good combines.

Thanks.... I'm just worried about timing and when I should leave. I did happen to get the student rate - and you're probably right about parking but I don't remember there being any signs at all... I remember walking from housing I think... I don't really remember them being very hospitable.
