Morning all.
Sting from the weekend still hurts but i am really glad that i made it out to Fisher so many times this year and that i made so many new friends from my travels!
Doctors- YOU ARE ALRIGHT!
All the best to you and yours!

Jose - just calling 'em like I see 'em.  If Juvan improves on where he ended this year, I really think he would be a league MVP type player.  Is Ithaca losing a lot this year?  I didn't look at their starters to see how many seniors they had.  I know SJF loses a ton, so will Ithaca possibly be the early favorite in the E-8 next year?

Mount loses their whole starting line on offense, coupled with all their starting receivers.  On defense I think they lose 9? our of the 11 starters.  Next year is the year they will be vunerable early on in the season.

:D :D :D

Let's be serious about this.  Mount reloads.  They don't re-build.

The guys who will replace the departing seniors had significant reps in all 14-15 games this year.

And the MUC replacements' replacements had more PT than SJF's.

Good luck!  It will be the game of the week!  :)

Have a good off-season!

Perfect analysis... could you be a closet Mount fan?
They should have practiced harder.

QuoteHow come I didn't hear any "you have no class" comments as Garcon was prancing around in the endzone not much earlier? He drew a flag as well... hmm.

Two reasons for this...his celebration was pretty mild, just very, very drawn out.  I would've flagged him as soon as he went over to the student section, however.  Letting that go was asking for trouble.  More importantly, he wasn't down by 42.  ;D

Congrats on a great season again, Fisher folks.

I'm not one to pile on, but my sense is that even the guy does NOT come back, this story line will resurface next year somewhere around mid-August.  If he's not going to be playing, it will simply be mentioned.  If he does come back (I think I read somewhere that even though he's  a senior, he has junior eligibility?), well, he brought anything he gets on himself.

I really dont know what his status is.
Even still- Im sure it will be a tagline going back into alliance at the beginning of the season.
Just remember-it was the act of one player.
Nobody condoned it.
Quite frankly im sure that the amount of heat that he took and will continue to take will suffice!

Hi, folks, it's still Monday morning. Some people are just now getting to the site. It's going to still be discussed.

Not sure that winning percentage matters more than longevity for a "rivalry" to exist but, for the record:

All Time Record vs. IC

SJF: 3-7 (.300)

C-State: 26-37-3 (.394)

Ok..now that the East smoke has cleared....I have to say.....Ithaca was the "beast of the east" in the play-offs.  Yah I know....easy to say looking at the score.  But, Ithaca's QB was the best Mount has seen since Rocky from Capital last year.  I know you all indicated he was "average" earlier in the season, but that kid came into his own at the end of the season, and during the play-offs.  He was that good.

I wish the IC three headed monster could return for a 6th year next year!  Juvon will be that good... He should lead us over Fisher and I think we will really be able to vitalize him in the west coast spreads and, dare I say it, OPTION offense...???

Oh the possibilities of Bomber football next year..... quick question, who replaces Donovan?

JQV

Probably Bergerstock, maybe Kulp.
