Am I understanding correctly that the games will be "televised" via internet like last year? I'd love to watch these games.

Wow so Mount Union isn't rolling or anything.  I guess the East isn't really that weak if Mount Union is doing it to everybody...

skunks_sidekick

Ok East guys.....come on down to Salem and join your "brothers from the East".   ;)

It's a great time, and we could use some "East Coast Cool" to make us Ohioans SEEM to have a bit of "it".  EAST IS THE BEAST!

Booby,
tried to explain a few weeks ago that the OAC is a great conference. Just MUC is better this year then most. ROLL TO SALEM RAIDERS FOR A THREEPEAT THREEPEAT

superman57

I think the question has to be not who will win the stagg, but by how much will MUC win...

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

I'm glad that MUC was moved to the east so that they would have a tougher opponent in the Semifinals...  ::)

I just can't believe that Ithaca has played them the best of anybody so far. Who woulda thunk it?
A 2004 graduate of the "almighty legendary" Ithaca College. Goooooo Bombers.

As ludicrous as this may sound, Maybe Division III should have the BCS and Division 1 have the playoff  ;D ... There would be no controversy on who the top two teams are!

Well I was never one of the ones who shouted from the mountain tops that the OAC is weak, but they did seem a bit down this year when Mount Union shut out how ever many of them in a row.  Although holding Mount Union in the 30's offensively is a feat in itself.

Whether or not the OAC is down, this is one of the greatest Mount teams in history.  With today's score, they are now the highest scoring offense in the history of the school.  That in itself is amazing as Mount has had some pretty amazing offenses.  And, assuming they don't give up 50 next week in the Stagg, they will be the best scoring defense in the history of the school as well.
They should have practiced harder.

No doubt the OAC was down offensively this season, especially at QB.  But the defenses in the OAC were still very good.  Capital and Baldwin Wallace probably had the best defenses that MUC has seen.  Their problem was no QB play.

Congrats to Ithaca for giving MUC the best game to date.  Only game this season where MUC actually went to the half with the outcome still in doubt.  With the number of guys you have coming back, you should be able to make a nice run next season.  Maybe we're get lucky enough to see another MUC/Ithaca playoff match-up.

However, I think SJF is in trouble next year in the opener.  Both MUC and SJF loose a ton of players, but MUC returns Micheli and Kmic to lead the offense and MUC has much better depth to fill the holes than SJF does.

Good luck to all the East guys in the off-season.  It was fun playing some new teams and bickering with new fans.  Hopefully our paths cross again in the future.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

Sounds like we will at least get to hear from you guys for the next two years and, I am hearing rumors of interactions beyond that.  I'll get to Alliance someday too.
