Bowler, from everything I heard, I would love to hear what Coach would say too.  It seems we had a hard time making adjustments to them in the second half.  Oh, and what happened to flats and swing passes out of the back field.  I know that when Josh was young it was a good saftey blanket.  I am sure DJ would like an outlet when he is being rushed hard.

AUPepBand

That's awesome! AUPepBand numbered about 15 with shirts in home opener versus Thiel. Had five make the 6-hour trip to Springfield, leaving Alfred at 5:30 a.m.! Had a trumpet, a trombone, a euphonium, a bass drum and kazoo. Took a sousaphone, too, but forgot the mouthpiece so our sousaphone player filled in on kazoo!

Springfield fans after the game, "You guys had the best band today!"
On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!
...Fight, fight for Alfred, A-L-F, R-E-D!

I dont know how you can have a hard time making adjustments at the half when you just completely dominated the team for the entire half and only allowed them 50 or so yards.

John McGraw said that those flat passes were covered immediately by the SJF LBers....

For any of my fellow Bronco fans....if there be any on this board....Jake Plummer can move the ball, but has yet to put it in the endzone since the very first drive of the season....anyone for Jay Cutler??? (sorry for the diversion to NFL)

and a quick question....is there any reason for spelling saturday with and e?? Maybe I missed something...can anyone enlighten me??

Last season a player from AU, i think it was Gatto or something along those lines, came on here and said something along the lines of "I can't wait to line up versus Ithaca on Saterday to see how tough they actually are" (paraphrasing of course).  That started a huge uproar and constant bashing of the AU player....

ICemanJK

Gotcha. Thanks for the clarification.

Jamie....good call...the LB's were pretty hot in pursuit.....their defense smelled blood.....Stepnick made a couple of nice hits as well....I said it before Lang is as athletic as I've seen anywhere besides the Bomber's LB's....DJ and the WR's will get on the same page on the blitz packages, etc. He is going to be an awesome QB for the next few seasons...

We really needed to maintain the level of intensity...I am sure halftime was a little bit puzzling for IC....I know I sat in the stands and as good as I think the defense has played this season...I was puzzled at SJF's play calling and execution...both sides of the ball....if either safety was called they may have rolled over....I'm not sure what adjustments you make when you've held that offense to "fifty yards."

Mr. Robinson's first TD was him just sliding down the line and turning the corner.......the place erupted and well..you've been on the field when momentum shifts....the fans woke up and every maroon and gold uniform was rockin'..

Same teams that will give us a workout...Springfield, Brockport and Alfred...should make a game of it with Fisher....

This may sound a little cliche'...but it will be interesting to see how the boys get after it on Monday...film day right???

I'm appreciating that bye week later this season more and more....

Nice to see you on the board tonight, Iceman!  Glad you made it home safe Yellowhat... was great seeing you this weekend.

Won on my single NFL pick today (Cleveland +7) over an insanely overrated Baltimore.  Pressing my luck on the Broncs tonight.

Looking forward to the Grido report tonight.  Will be interesting to hear Coach's thoughts.

Tecmo,

I hope tonight's 10-0 halftime lead works better for you than saterday's.

It's my signature iceman.  He also spelled excited "exited,"  which you may see on here as well.

And as far as Cutler goes, people have been screaming for him here in Denver since the preseason.  Kubiak being gone hurts, but Shanahan doesn't sound like he's going away from Plummer anytime soon.  Once they pick a tailback to give the majority of the reps to, I think that'll help too.

Well, MIYH, you can be thankful that you have your outstanding Middle School Softball Team to return to, probably in action this week....that should lift your spirits! Middle School ...it's awesome.

That's true PepBand.  We don't keep score though, because "everybody wins."  Tecmo gave me a new cheer to teach to the girls too, so I'm looking forward to passing it on to them.

Tatum Bell looks explosive.  I just need the Bronc's to keep it within seven!
Thousands of fans join in the revelry, showing their Bomber pride and support for the football team. Some fans take the rowdiness a little too far, however, by starting fights, damaging property and tipping Port-a-Potties. -Ithacan, November 10th

I'm working hard towards that 80-post week...if you couldn't tell.  How 'bout Springfield's QB, Chris Sharpe, with 375 total yards.  You think his heroics will continue  against Utica?

The only thing I can say about that is, SJF has to let that offensive line come out and set the tone for the day, regardless of how many people are in the box.  This offensive line (including the FB and TE who i think are vastly under-rated) can be so dominant at times that not letting them come out and get after the D-line right away is just kinda wacky.  I've got no problem w/ SJF going to the air, but you've got to let this offensive line set them up.

To only call Robby's number ONCE in the first series and only FIVE times in a half is also wacky, regardless of field position and how many people are in the box.  This kid is a game breaker and can bust one at any time and everyone knows this, or at least SHOULD know this by now.....

I think Sharpe and the Pride will continue their good play this year and possibly cause a 3 way tie for the E-8!
