Also, what does everybody think about fisher possibly running the table this season??  i know its still early but if they can beat brockport and springfield in weeks 6 and 8 it should be very realistic.  Thats easier said than done.  it helps they play springfield at home as well.

I think there are still 3 tough games left on their schedule....

Brockport is always tough and it looks as though they got back on the juice this offseason...

All it takes in the Springfield game is one mistake on a play and it can go for 6....

AU at AU is a tough game for SJF.....

Now ranked 22nd... no problems here. Remember the last time we were ranked as high as we were last week we threw up on ourselves against Lycoming. Maybe this dock will be good for IC's collective psyche.

I've never understood the interest in polls.  They seem like a waste of time to put together, and a waste of time to read.

Tecmo, you gotta change that icon, it's painful to look at now.

Noted...

This NFL game should be fun tonight. Electric crowd, Bush and Vick (neither of whom I've seen this year).  Hope the lady lets me watch it over Bridezillas!

As noted on the LLPP, TGP was surprised (happy, but surprised) to see Hobart getting #1 props this early in the season.  TGP still thinks SJF deserves the #1 after the IC stomp last weekend.  Hobart was won 3 games, but only by a combined 14 pts.  Even the RPI win was more of RPI killing themselves than Hobart killing them.

Gridiron Report Report-

Coach Welch looked a bit dejected.  Can't imagine it was much fun suiting up to come on for that show. Seemed very frustrated in all of the points the offense left on the field in the first half.

Came out flat in the second half.  Hinted that we miss the veteran presence a bit to calm folks down when things are going downhill.

Donavan was interviewed after the game, called the second half "totally unacceptable".  You can tell he's worried about the playoffs a bit... no secret that we have to run the table.

Young Napoleone interviewed... looked a bit shellshocked. Flat performances by the defense after halftime must come to an end.

Terlecki was the player of the week... was pretty well spoken.

Looking at the highlights, it looked like we missed Stephens a bit more than we may have realized at first.

"shell shocked" is probably an understatement....all we need now is to get focused on B-Port.

It sounds like the D-line is big, maybe bigger than Fisher....has anybody heard a breakdown about the LB's and defensive backs?  Is Mr. McGraw out there?

It sounds as if the offense is run oriented? Can't wait for another "cool" afternoon out in Brockport...that has to be the windiest field we play on.....

"We bust ours so we can beat yours..."

i go away on a little r&r and this is what i missed!!!
congrats to fisher!! good quality win!
IC, brush off and get ready for next week.

wow- still stunned!

We always seem to stumble abit then we pick right back up.  IC knows what to do and there is veteran leadership.  I spoke to a few players and they are focused on Bport.  Thats the start of another winning streak.

Oh, and by the way, ya'll are killing me with me losing Karma.  I don't think I can be any nicere than I am being.  I have not smited anyone either.

Beware of Al Lucci on the D-Line...he's been a force on every game I've listened to. The offense is not run-oriented to the point that they don't throw.  Zack Luke at QB has some experienced WRs and they don't hesitate going down the field.  I would say they are 60-40 run.

I agree with max and tecmo..the drop in rank is a stern wake up call, but not falling out of the top 25 should restore a bit of confidence to the Bombers.
All hail the Booga
