Pep.  I live in Tampa.  It has been summer since mid-February.

As for the video, I never thought to look before but, here it is.  Gotta love YouTube.

Pep, please remind me what is AU's NCAA record over the past 5 years?

AUPepBand

Sure thing, Upstate. The Saxons' NCAA Division III regular season record during the past five years is a respectable 38-16, including four straight ECAC championships. AU has not, however, been invited to the NCAA Playoffs since its undefeated season of 1981.

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

boobyhasgameyo

yeah..... why make those comments?  you just know you are going to open them up to make attacks about Fisher from the late 90's to 2001 era or the Ithaca people talking about the overall Fisher vs. Ithaca record.  I'm just saying, it's coming....

booby, you and I and every DIII football fan knows that fisher sucked from 1990-2001, if they want to bring that up then good for them, lets ask who is the last private school to win a butterball

Ha, well they didn't suck throughout the entire 90's decade.  There were a few pretty decent seasons thrown in.  It's just the late 90's when they started having those pretty sweet 1-2 win seasons.

Define Few and Decent and late 90's ( I count 2 that can maybe classify as decent)...

1990    3-6-1    Ralph Gebhardt
1991    0-9    Paul Vosburgh
1992    4-6    Paul Vosburgh
1993     5-4    Paul Vosburgh
1994    5-4    Paul Vosburgh
1995    1-9    Paul Vosburgh
1996    2-7    Paul Vosburgh
1997    1-8    Paul Vosburgh
1998    3-6    Paul Vosburgh
1999    1-8    Paul Vosburgh
2000    1-9    Paul Vosburgh

Sorry... lol.

We are approaching a couple months until the season... I can't wait for it to come again. Unfortunately the NJAC board doesn't have too much going on.  There's JT, Rams, and a few others but it looks as though I'll have to stick around here for any entertainment... Even with BSU not playing any E8 teams at all.  It's going to be strange without the Ithaca and Fisher Matchups.  Hopefully those matchups will occur in the playoffs (wishful thinking!!).

One of my favorite D3football.com memories is Brockport and St. John Fisher's "Hail Katherine" game at Special Olympics Stadium back in 2004. It's a shame the two teams aren't playing this year.

Sorry... lol.

Well PG I know one of those seasons they had an above 500 record but had to forfeit some of the wins because of an ineligible player, so that would make 3 seasons in the 90's with above 500 record which is more than most people thought, since they probably assumed Fisher went through all of the 90's without winning more than 2 games.  Plus you included the year 2000 record, that's just rubbing it in!  I'm curious though how did you actually find those, I tried before to find past records and simply could not.

So back to your question.  I define few as three or more which there were if they didn't have to forfeit the wins, and I count decent as an above .500 record because I didn't say amazing seasons I said decent....The late 90's I would count as 97, 98, 99.  Maybe Pat knows which specific season Fisher forfeited the wins because I think they played Catholic that year, I think it was in '95 which would explain the drop off from 5-4, 5-4, to 1-9.

*Edit

I looked back at SJFF82's previous posts because I remembered he was the one originally talking about Fisher's past records.  They were 6-0 to start the '95 season and nationally ranked, so that definitely was the season the wins were forfeited.
