and +K to all for some good late July banter.

Seriously, this board has been on fire with actual football talk....

Its amazing!

I've got some information about the kid from WVU that is transfering to SJF.  He started out at ECC then walked on to WVU, he made the team but the NCAA then said he only had 1 year of eligibility at the D-1 level so he left WVU and is now coming to Fisher.

I'm pretty sure fitchburg does. not sure about mt ida.

Mt. Ida is a nice grass field, if you like a field full of goose crap....

They have this animal hospital/vet center close by and geese hang around all day and litter the field with it.

Its not that bad until you have to get down in a three point stance or go to cut a guy and end up getting a facemask full of crap...
haha outstanding. its a good thing my playing days are through. not a huge fan of goose crap. if i was making the schedules for SC i would be going in SJF's direction and go after the big dogs instead of beating up on the chumps.

SJF had a fun time of scheduling cupcakes and beating on them to get where they are.  It looks good for the program with the students and incoming recruits to get some big wins.  I love what SJF is doing with their schedule this year with MUC, however to lump in Salisbury (a much more athletic version of SC) to go along with it could be a bit much.

Yes it is Erie....

They also have a couple of other kids coming in, a TE/WR/DE coming in from Lockhaven, Stoneybrook and UB...

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

SC is not consistant enough of a team to play big name teams. Each year you dont know what you are going to get from them.

Well excluding the 2001 season Springfield had a nice run of good seasons put together.  Records of 11-2, 8-2, 10-1, 8-2.

Nah, he can't be any better than Kramer.  Plus he doesn't look like he could hurt children.  I think that's a pre-req.

I think this year will be a bit more wideopen in the league, but the usual suspects will be on top at the end of the year...My prediction:

1)Fisher/Ithaca...the winner of that game will win the league (I know this is a total cop out but I think Fisher has a better team, while Ithaca has a better QB, obviously. SO I am saying they are tied now)
2)Alfred...a few losses this year probably but they will be tough
3)SC...I think they will be down without their QB from last year, but they will be better than the bottom half of the league
4)Hartwick...IC and SJF play a bit more seriously from the start and pound on them...HC losses some others as weel
5)Utica...may be better, but just not enough talent yet...1 win
6)Norwich...They are just not good.
GO FISHER!!!

Mt. Ida really does have a horrible facility.  The field is definately filled with goose crap.  Plus the locker room they provide to you is some old gymnasium with minimal working showers, no training area, no benches or places to sit, etc.  Too bad because the college is located in a really nice suburb of Boston, MA.

Yeah I agree on the topic of the SJF schedule.  MUC was a good idea, but I'm not so sure about Salisbury.  They are a very tough team to prepare for because they run an unorthodox offensive system.  Definately will be a challenge for the Fisher defense, and Mike Fox as well.

Utah, wild turkey's and coyote's are all over the place in that area of Newton.  I went to pick up Ms.U89 the other night and had to wait for a pack of coyote's to cross the street, then a mile later, a family of turkey's.

This can't be good news for the turkey's!!!
