What was the story today Fish fans?  Sounds like the D is the real deal...offense still looking to find its grove.  Was Buff St. better then you expected?

By the way...McKnight from USC...nasty...

husson isnt all that bad?
yeeesh-ok....
like i say- i wish blaise luck--

no, husson really isn't all that bad.  They finished 6-4 in 2006, and 6-3 in 2007.  In 2006 Husson defeated E8 foes Utica, Norwich, and Hartwick.  They also defeated non-scholarship 1-AA LaSalle.  In 2007 they beat Utica and Norwich, and lost to Hartwick only by 7.

Like I said,  Blaise and Utica College will only win 2 or 3 games this season.  But expect improvement every year.  Blaise is a good coach and a great recruiter, and he will turn that program around.

SJF needs to find some consistancy on offense, they put up 400yds today but stalled countless times in the redzone.  They are going to have their hands full with UR next week with the courage bowl and all.  They need to find their identity and fast...

I agree...not saying Husson is a power...not in the least...but they are putting a good program together.  I would be willing to bet they finish above .500 this year.

I definately have faith in Faggiano...I have several friends that know him well.  Within a few years, I would bet you will see a big difference in the UC program...which is scary since the E8 is already pretty loaded, and who knows who we are going to get to replace Norwich.

Well U of R did not show much getting taken behind the woodshed by Case Western Reserve. I know they were good last year but come on.

I honestly think that Vosburg is trying to figure out how to use the quarterbacks he has as he goes. I think Fisher can move the ball very well, but they need to put the ball in the endzone when they get into the redzone.

Not a great showing tonight, but a win, and some more answers on offense. Bottom line the D is really good, and the Offense has some work to do.

Bailey's numbers are inflated because the wide receivers were doing all of the work.  Short little slants that Marion and Smith made into some decent gains.  Bailey once again had one nice throw downfield to counter the 7 or 8 terrible overthrown ones, giving some glimmer of hope.  This Fisher offense is completely anemic.  We have great wide receivers that we cant even utilize downfield.  Also I would like to see Brown actually throw the ball, he has good legs but the dude never throws.

FisherAlum05

I think the offense is close.  Marion and Smith are the best duo of receivers in the East.  It looks like we might see 2 quarterbacks this year though.  Bailey seemed better passing the ball, and Brown is very dangerous on the ground.  If we can gain consistency running the ball, I think you will see this offense look as potent as ever.  Hopefully Herrington is the real deal.

Carlton is just not good at running the ball between the tackles, they need to find someone to bang in the middle and use Carlton on 3rd downs for screens/draws and swing passes...

I think Scott Biehl could be the power back to run up the gut, he has good size and also was able to make some nice catches out of the backfield against Mount Union.  But he didn't play today, does anybody know the story on that?

Not an OSU or USC fan....but does anyone think there have been an unusual amount of calls against OSU?

Holding on a long run that would have been first and goal (questionable).
Holding on a TD (close, but reasonable).
Early whistle on a scramble for a fumble that gave USC the ball, when OSU recovered it?

I don't even care who wins...tough to admit, but I am a Notre Dame fan...but looks like there are some favorable calls for USC...

Big win for those Irish today...As I am a ND fan myself that is all that matters to me today. However, the $100 I have riding on this game will keep me into it. I think USC is 30 points better than OSU. I think they can win by at least 3 touchdowns. I don't buy the buckeyes at all. They will get rolled by another team tonihgt. Everytime the play a good team, they get smoked
