I've been lurking on the boards and Fishfan, I gotta say, you're a bit pessimistic of your team. It seemed that they had a bit of trouble finishing some drives off, but you have to remember, they've graduated a whole lot of talent on offense in these last few years. It's going to take them a game or two to discover their identity. Ithaca's going through the same thing right now after Donovan and Baez graduated.

Right now, you still have to say Fisher's the favorite to win the conference (Both IC and the 'Wick are at home, followed by Hartwick (who gets Ithaca at home), then IC, then Springfield/Alfred. I think you need to just relax a bit. Monday morning QB is fun, but it seems like you're awfully critical of a Top 15 team.

Also, who's got the 411 on Springfield? Are we getting 4-6 or 10-2? It looks like they only managed 14 against Union at home, with seven coming on what I would classify as garbage time. So I'm thinking this isn't the greatest year for them on offense?

Any one catch the end of the Denver/San Diego game! Holy 2 point conversion Batman! This misplaced Bronco fan was pretty excited yesterday.

As a Denver fan, I'd be interested in your take on the bizzare call that nulified a Denver fumble at the end of the game.  If I remember, the ref called it a fumble and blew it dead at the same time.  Can't say I ever saw that call before.

Didn't understand it at the time, but after further review this is what happened:

Big Guns Hoculi called it an incomplete pass and blew the play dead. After review, he agreed it was a fumble, but by rule the play ends when the whistle is blown so the last team to have posession (denver) got the ball at the spot of the fumble.

and yes, Cutler is on my fantasy team, and I thank Big Guns for getting me that extra TD and conversion.

Usually after Springfield loses a lot of offense, they struggle early in the year but by week like 7 Delong has figured out the 411 and they start to move the ball the way they are known for.

Does anybody else notice that the E8PP is struggling mightily to cross the 2000 post pages mark for good?  Me thinks some of the football updates were deleted again, although I am too lazy to look back and verify this running theory of mine.  Here is to hoping when we cross it this time, it is for good!

Although the random NFL musings help us cross the mark, it'd be nice to see people keep it a little more on topic

We actually attend the games and pay for our tickets. The defense is good and going to get much better. The special teams are as good as it gets in d3. The offense is still seeking what works best. In the second half against Buff State
they moved the ball at will. Accept for a couple dropped passes by upper classmen
fisher would of at least had two more Tds. Baily is going to be a very good QB.
The more he plays the more he will click with Tim Marion and Jimmy Smith.

And this means what exactly?

fishfan

It means, go to the game.

I've got a family, 2 kids with another on the way.  There was no way I was dragging my kids out to the game with the weather as it was.  There's another douche baggy assumption made by you...

Yes. I deleted the St. John Fisher updates from Saturday.

Actually not a bad night. Lots of kids at the game having fun in the stands.
You didn't see that on the web cast.

not so rowdy bomber

Rowdy wants to know who has the parking pass for Z-lot and who will be bringing what to the game.  FDC needs to get their asses organized... we're already 2 games in!!!

someone i.e.  MIYH needs to make Rowdy an Admin on the FDC Facebook group so that he can contact everyone  (yes, NRSB is gettin' salty).

good "w" Bombers.  FDC is expecting to see the game stepped up alot more.  Confidence is key... we'll be there Saterday to back ya up. btw, any really tall WR's this year?  Rowdy wants to bring back the "Throw it to _____, he's tall!" wicked bad.

So ready for some toe-touches, some herkies, and booga boogas, throw in a couple safety dances, and a "PLETHORA!" of "WHERRRRRE's hEEEEEEE gOooooooinnnnnnns?!!"

EHHHHHHHHH Bombers!
