Let's hope it is someone that can do something in the playoffs unlike last year :)!

SJF did win two games last year and IC gave MUC their most competitive game until the championship game.  Hartwick on the other hand, well we all know what happened there....

i'm assuming you mean beating Fisher and Ithaca in the regular season... if its not that i just cant figure it out...

Wow the curry loss just happen to slip your memory?

CURRY...WNEC...NEFC...I just can't help but chime in.

I have a question for you dlippeil...

Isn't Hobart like 2-5 since 2001 in the NCAA's?

So you have one more win then Curry...congrats...

Does that make you the Curry of the LL?

We are talking about this year...focus on the past as much as you want...but we are talking about this year.   Before you hurt your shoulder patting yourself on the back...take a look at your own record.  I would love to be in the NCAA's year in and year out...but you have basicly faired no better then Curry.  So before you knock them, understand that you are them.

First of all Yanks a simple click of the button would clearly show you what team I support. By the way the team I support I always try to be as objective as possible when looking at their past and present accomlishments. Also if you would like to talk about Bart that would do me fine. Who are their losses to in the NCAAS? Curry? NEFC? No. Look at their OOC schedule, all cupcakes? No. Your team has two losses in the past two years to NEFC teams and embarassed the E8 last year. Plus the most important point of this whole argument is I never attempt to over inflate my team, Bart, or RPI for that matters (I am a LL supporter) ranking and/or lack their of. I feel if anything I am most critical of the league and teams I support. Yet you and/or some Wick fans seem to believe this team is the second coming, yet what have you done? EVER? You beat SJF 2 years running great, I am happy about that. I am happy with Wicks success but I am also realistic and get annoyed with people building them up when they haven't proven themselves. Your OOC schedule is a joke! You have given up tons of points and your team is based on two players (whom I like by the way). So all I have ever been saying is stop blowing your horn until it really deserves to be blown. Also by the way my team has been to two Stagg Bowls and has a solid Rep in East football your team plays in a bird cage.

My mistake on the Hobart/Union mix up.  Not sure how I screwed that one up.

Who is building 'Wick up at this "national power"?  Not me...not BoSox...not Hawks...who?  I am excited they are in position to go the NCAA's again for a second year in a row.  It may not happen, there is a lot of football left...but they are in good positioin.

You can throw the Stagg Bowl around...I know I would if we get there...but that was a long time ago.  Like a really long time ago.  Am I supposed to be impressed about the accomplishments of a team well over a decade ago today, in relation to this years team?  With the exception of 2005 (which you guys had a great team that demolished IC...it was brutal), Union has hardly been relevent in the NCAA since the beginning of 02.  They have been good...better then 'Wick overall from 2002-present...but with the exception of 2005, has anyone really been terrified of Union?

Don't hurt your arm patting yourself on the back over your OOC schedule.  You play one tough non-conference team...Muhlenberg.  One...so if we pick up a tough game next year which we are looking to do, does that mean you will never talk about SOS again?  If our schedule is a joke because according to you we play zero good non conference teams, does that mean your non-conference schedule is really mediocre, since you only play one tough team?

The losses to WNEC and Curry were last year.  It is over...done...should we go over every embarrssing loss your team has had over the last few years?  It means nothing to the team this year...let it go man...you will probably feel better.  I mean, we have...

Yanks come on...Sprinfield has been in the top 25 a few times since The U has started playing them  including a #9 preseason ranking in 2007 and is usually considered a very "strong" unique team in the East. The Mules have only recently come into big time d3 success and obviously have been more than solid for the past two seasons. SO I would say their OOC is better than mediocore is an understatement. Plus Union has not recently lost to any NEFC team let alone twice in a year. Listen man I am actually rooting for the Wick today and as I have previously stated I hope for their continued success. However the OOC scheduling and embarassing losses is an argument you will not win. Good luck this year :)

I agree the words demolish and brutal are not apporpriate, but it was a solid U victory and to me, U was the better team that year. They went on to play great against Rowan and really should have won that game. Of course the following year the U (preseason #10) went on to get beat by a solid Springfield team that made it to the second round of the NCAAs and U got smoked by SJF in the first round of the NCAA. I was sad :(

Jonny Utah

Yea I can't argue with that. Union was the better team.  2 solid offenses against 2 overmatched defenses with one (Union's) comming up with pretty much the only 2 defensive stops in the game (in that fourth quarter)

Union lacked the defensive size to make it against the big boys that year I think....

That was a great game but I couldn't tell who was the better team (or who deserved to win the game anyway) untill Union stopped IC those two times in that fourth quarter.

From my memory Union did have a better running game while IC had the better special teams and probably even with the passing games.
