Glad we won, but seriously it has to be the ugliest win i've ever seen!

Special teams was horrid, absolutley horrid.  All of the returns were up the middle.

Defense was hot and cold.

Bailey as well was hot and cold, he made some pretty poor decisions that could have cost SJF the game.

Im not too thrilled with this win.

haha what can i say man?  as colin cowherd would say "I am just a fan, which is short for fanatic".  Yards didn't tell the story, we could have scored a couple times.  We even had a goaline series that we didn't capitalize on I believe.  And the pick six to end the half, that kind of hurts.  Or fumbling a snap deep in your own territory that Mount Union recovers and scores on.  That hurts too.  We played them closer than the score indicates believe me.

Forget it Booby...it seems that some so-called football people on here live in a virtual football world only.  They seem to think that stats and blog boards are football.  Many want to continue to pretend that they respect SJF and their accomplishments and their current schedule, yet undermine them in the same post.  There are fans of schools with proud histories who will never accept that SJF has accomplished what they have the past SIX years (not 2 U89).

You guys are funny (and very sensitive).  I give Fisher tons of credit for their recent success....I simply said that this years version is in a rebuilding process and you homers get all defensive.

You are right U89, I am sensitive...I have cried at movies, when I got married and when my son got on the school bus....but your tired, scripted response that I am a homer and sensitive is so very predictable.  I mean, how is it that you initiate the talk about SJF, then someone (who happens to be a Fisher fan), responds, and so for their response, they are "laughable" "a homer"  and "sensitive"??  Do you post on here to listen to yourself think about Union's glory years, or do you expect fans to respond with their own independent opinions?

BTW, SJF is not rebuilding.  What are they rebuilding?  They got smoked by MUC, the same way the whole East would, and the same way Capital #4 did.  They lost in 4ot to Salisbury and blah blah blah....  They are 5-3 and right in the mix.

Also, where have I mentioned the Union glory years (which I was part of)??  Never.   I catch a ton of heat from Frank Rossi for actually 'bashing' Union.

Do you actually read others posts or do you just automatically feel that anyone who brings up Fisher is bashing them??

Not that Utica is that formidable, but I feel better about IC's high east ranking after the win today and Fisher's performance as well. I'd put the east like this now:

1. Cortland
2. RPI
3. Ithaca
4. Hartwick

I'm not sure If I'd put Fisher at 5 because I don't know much about Hobart, WPI, Rowan or Montclair, all who won today.

Don't be angry DC, at least you scored 7 points this year...by the way, we had a great recruiting class come in this year, and hopefully can get some more kids in next year.

Phelan is a only a junior...and why don't we concentrate on the last half of this year before we go into next year banter.

I think they'll be alright next year. They return almost their whole offensive line, RB Demulder, WR Koreman, and just about everybody on their improving defense. I say look for a more balanced attack next year, as Demulder is proving this year that he is more than capable of carrying the load.

I'm curious as to why Fisher fans get so defensive when other people talk about how maybe they aren't that great when from the first week of the season, they've been complaining about the offense, the playcalling, etc.

Boy, I am going to sound like a 'Wick supporter pretty soon, but why doesnt everyone just get the hell of their nts for a week.  They keep winning by scores they are supposed to and all anyone can say is...wait till next year when your all-american seniors graduate?  Does that make sense...I am going over to the OAC right now and telling the MUC posters...wait till Kmic and Micheli graduate.  You guys are being a bit illogical already. btw, hasnt 'Wick had a few of these all-american offensive players in the past...Pincelli (sp?) and I cannot remember the other QB or RB...help...point is this: it is their team...deal with it.  It is almost as if some feel that Boltus and Phelan should be at a "good" school but that they filled out their college application wrong...oops I meant to put Ithaca in that line where it asked what college I was enrolling in...  Thsoe guys chose Hartwick...and that is Hartwick's team...OK?
