Nope - Unless your name ends with "89" and begins with "U" -- I'm not a smiter.

Note to the Fisher football brain trust; schdule the easyist, non-threatening schdule as possible. Or maybe, 9, 8 games and be rewarded like Hatwick.

And add a mandatory spelling course upon entry.  This is just getting rediculus.

whoa- frank---you chastised me for something very similar a week or two ago----cmon-- you cant have it both ways---am i allowed to bust on grammar and spelling now?

You know getting back to the "overrrrrratttttted" chant at the end of games....not a big fan of it.  Essentially what you are saying is that particular team is not as good as everyone thought and therefore what you just accomplished in defeating them wasn't really special at all.  I would much rather have the team be deserving of a high ranking and have my team still be able to top them.  It just never sat well with me.

How about this for a chant...

"Your team was adequatttteeelllllly rated but we were still able to overcome that obstacle through perseverannnnce"

Almost as catchy as the "We got a....FIRST DOWN!!" mumblings chant heard from the FDC at IC games....

Always.

(Note, the spelling of ridiculous was a sarcastic allusion to our favorite Superman.)

Do you think Cortland would like to see Fisher in a first round play-off game?

I certainly do. They're shutting down opposing running games (74 YPG/2.3 YPC) They're almost automatic in the Red Zone (25 scores in 27 tries and the only two unsucessful attempts were FG's of over 40 yards). I would want no part of Cortland State if I didn't have confidence in my QB to win the game on his own and my defense was of the "bend but don't break" variety. Because Cortland will force you to be one-dimensional, and once they get inside your 20, they're probably putting points on the board.

If I were Cortland, I'd be very happy to see everyone in the E8...

I contend that the only time a team should be subjected to an "overrated" chant is if they've been talking smack before the game.

The best chant I ever heard was after IC beat Huntington, the FDC club sang "Leaving on a Jet Plane"

They could also try not losing three games in a season...or they could try and win the Conference outright and not rely on tiebreakers...

As for their schedule, the MUC game I'll give them a pass for, but their game against Salisbury is hardly more difficult than IC's game against Cortland (considering it was a home game) and Rochester and Buffalo State weren't exactly world class.

Yeah, why get up and cheer when you can sit on your a$$ and shake a cowbell. Real fans up there at Growney.

On an unrelated note, our speedy outings of player-posters is getting a little troubling... we're not even giving them a chance to make an ass out of themselves!

Sitting at Bufferfield sucks. I bring my own chair. The bleachers are hard and cold. At least SJF has really fancy seats
