There are many soccer fans out there, it is the most popular sport in the history of the world...So to say somebody is a tool for playing it...just doesn't make that much sense. 

Is Booby defending "the beautiful game" because he too played?  It's possible.  More potential revelations as they develop.....

There's nothing wrong with playing or enjoying either football.  I must admit, I get more exited for a US MNT match than just about any other sporting event.  And just thinking about both matches with the dirty Tris is making me wish it was December already so I can find out what our draw will be in the hex for WC qualifying so I'll know when Landon will have his next opportunity to piss on Mexican soil!

But first, the Saxons need to cancel the Bombers' flight request to the NCAA tournament.

Sometimes KaZ00 gets "football" games confused. Kinda like humming through the wrong end, although, to be perfectly honest, Pep never played organized American football but was a Western NY All-Star scholastic soccer player. Go figure.

With the season coming to a close, my reign as Commish will come to an end.  Instead of voting on our next commissioner in December when most posters, having consumed a little too much eggnog, are off attaching mistletoe to their belt buckles, might I suggest that we begin the process of voting for a commissioner-elect?  And as the current E8 Commissioner, I would like to suggest that we limit the choices to supporters of team that wins the E8 AQ each year sort of like how MLB appoints coaches to the All-Star Game.  To the victor go the spoils. (anyone know the etymology of that phrase?)

As for Soccer, I never played Football or Soccer but I enjoy watching both.  I think the intricacies of both games are exciting.

As an ex-linemen, it is almost heresy to admit that anything about the soccer is good. I will admit however that it is a great way for us fat people to get back into shape.
