With the season coming to a close, my reign as Commish will come to an end.  Instead of voting on our next commissioner in December when most posters, having consumed a little too much eggnog, are off attaching mistletoe to their belt buckles, might I suggest that we begin the process of voting for a commissioner-elect?  And as the current E8 Commissioner, I would like to suggest that we limit the choices to supporters of team that wins the E8 AQ each year sort of like how MLB appoints coaches to the All-Star Game.  To the victor go the spoils. (anyone know the etymology of that phrase?)

I would like to put my name in for the office of Commish of the E8PP.... I am a fair and balanced man, I would defend myself well and like our own president-elect, I promise to redistribute the wealth.... of D3 football throughout the land! A change has come to the E8PP. We have caught up to our LLPP brothers, and we need a leader like DC08 as the Commish of the E8PP!

However, I'm currently unemployed, which means I have copious amounts of free time on my hands. And while I have a girlfriend, she only has time to see me twice a week. I promise to unite all parties--Cardinals, Hawks, Bombers, Saxons, Pride, and Pioneers (I'd say Cadets but they'll be gone soon anyway, and really, are there any on this board?)

If elected, I will institute my "Sports Night Initiative" by which every post must be concluded with an applicable quote from "Sports Night", the greatest show in television history. Additionally, I will take a lesson from Keith Law of ESPN and issue fines to people displaying obvious homerisms. The money will go into a pot for a party at the start of the D-1 bowl season, where we will all sit around and make fun of them for not being able to get the National Championship game right. Finally, each week, I will appoint posters from two rival teams to argue a point. First one to make the other one cry wins.
