In Regards to the Fisher '08 Season:

Before I go on a tirad that will no doubt be critisized to the who cares about winning, let's just play and fun crowd -

I want to take a moment and give massive amounts of praise to #83 TIM MARION

The most important things that happen on a football field are often the toughest to measure from  a stats perspective.  I have watched this kid play these last few years and the guy is tough.  Not the fastest, yet finds a way to make others miss, and gain YAC.  He leaves all on the field, scrapping, fighting, trying to help the team win.

To me, nothing quite captured what this guy was all about until the 4th quarter of yesterdays game.  Catches the ball short of the first down marker, as he always found a way to do, got to the first down point, ended up fumbling, ball bouncing 5 to 7 yards in front of him, only to shake loose the 3 Alfred players draped all over him to hustle to recover the fumble and keep the drive going.

Great play, great player, great career.

ok tuff guy... we'll look out for your "tirad".  Who cares about winning?  Playing for fun crowd?  you're barking up the wrong tree... Beat it Nerd

Oh how BoSox never seems to spit out such jibberish. Dude your team opened the door last year and gave the NEFC some validity towards the committee. ****ing WNEC and then losing to Curry? Come on, your team blew it and your unrealistic tone all year only hurts Wick and their players who no doubt bust there ass. Many things should be left unsaid for the respect of the players. Yet when you honk your Wick horn you make people call you out on your ****. Damn NEFC with two teams I never thought I'd see the day. Well I wish them luck I just hope they both get monkey stomped. I for one will be at the Ithaca game over the Bart game because I want to see Grassdorf go to work!

i dont think last year should be considered that much... but i understand that you like to look to the past since thats all you have to live off...

they screwed themselves only by losing to Springfield.

Dilippiel,

Why waste your time in Ithaca, give the LL some love and come to Geneva for what should at least be a competitive game.

Plus we'll take all the revenues we can get.  Most of our athletics budget goes to the Lax program.

Hartwick you made your bed by:

-Losing to Curry last year
-Scheduling 9 games
-Allowing 69 to IC
-Losing to a 3-6 team

You have no argument here after having 2 losses and only having 9 games played.

Was that the sound or unimportance or bitterness I just heard?  Nope...just Upstate.

At least I am not bitching and moaning against my own team man...simply rooting for them...

Cant handle the truth?

You have no legs to stand on with your NCAA argument...

LONG LIVE TEAM BOLTUS!!!

I can handle the truth....can you handle taking off your SJF jersey for more than ten seconds to wash the cheetos off of it?  Say what you want, but it will be nearly three years by the time we play SJF next year that you have beaten us...I bet that stings a little...

We have more of a leg to stand on then your ridiculous arguement over how a 7-3 Fisher team could get in.  We didn't make it...it happens.  I am still excited about having a chance to play one more game and a shot at a 16-5 record over the past two seasons.  We have a lot to build on...

Nothing you said is even remotely relevant to the discussion...

Your bitter because you got snubbed by the team that spanked you in the first round and now throw jabs at SJF for what reason?

Congrats you beat them 2 years in a row, good for you, you joined MUC, AU and RPI as the only teams to do so over the past 5 years...

I hope you enjoy life with out Boltus, because everyone else in the E8 cant wait to drop 70 on you for the next few years...

Unless you're getting in Boltus' twin brother in next year you have nothing to build on...

I think you are, as they say on the coffee commercials, "...filled to the brim!" Once Boltus and Phelan are gone your password probably won't work to get on the damn board. Just playin but seriously this Wick stuff has to end. They have no beef and not a valid complaint for not making it. I can tell you exactly when and how Wick was clearly eliminated from a bid.....SPRINGFIELD.

I am not bitter...I knew it was still a long shot to make it after the SC loss.  I just thought it would be good for the E8 to get two teams in...and it doesn't bode well that the committee is taking two NEFC teams over the E8, NJAC, and the LL.  Life isn't fair sometimes...I hope we play well in the ECAC game and finish off a second good year.

YAWN...the rest of your arugement is pointless.  You have been bitter and angry for weeks.  Maybe we do well next year, maybe we don't...I will leave that up to the Wick coaching staff.  As for getting beat last year...that was last year.  I am/was focused on this year and this year only.

See dude the difference is I don't talk crazy **** about my team and blow smoke up everyone's ass who points out reality to you. I am well aware of the Dutchmen's reality as well as Wicks next year. Of course i would... My dream would be to see a NY State League with two divisions...

I know i mess around and am sarcastic but i dont think Hartwick being considered for NCAA's is talking crazy.

i waited a bit before i said anything - wanted to see if the wick fans would react the way i thought they would.
well they did so here is a quick response.
you didnt make the ncaas with boltus - probably the most talented d3 quarterbackive seen-enjoy being stuck in limbo for the forseeable future --- as your shot was wasted.

What about the fact NEFC got two teams over the E8, LL, and NJAC.... Thats a JOKE

No its not -

Here's what you should learn (which I know is tough for most Sox fans):

1 - if you want to get in, then don't schedule cup cakes for non division games.
2 - win your conference and don't leave it up to someone elses decision.

I was rooting for any second place team from the E8, LL, or NJAC.  Besides, no ones OOC schedule was strong from the Pool C contenders...no ones..

When have I, or BoSox, ever said that we didnt screw ourselves by losing to SC?

Yanks, c'mon, you know Curry is not the 3rd best team in that conference. Not making the conference championship doesn't mean they weren't better than the team from the crappy division (forgot the name). If we followed your logic to its absurd end, in two weeks we'd be saying that Missouri is better than three of these four: Texas, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State. We know that's not true.

As I've said, I don't agree with using Curry's win over Hartwick. But it happened and you can't tell me otherwise. Hartwick wasn't in the conversation due to the SC loss. That's all I'm saying.
