Hartwick you made your bed by:

-Losing to Curry last year
-Scheduling 9 games
-Allowing 69 to IC
-Losing to a 3-6 team

You have no argument here after having 2 losses and only having 9 games played.

Was that the sound or unimportance or bitterness I just heard?  Nope...just Upstate.

At least I am not bitching and moaning against my own team man...simply rooting for them...

Cant handle the truth?

You have no legs to stand on with your NCAA argument...

LONG LIVE TEAM BOLTUS!!!

I can handle the truth....can you handle taking off your SJF jersey for more than ten seconds to wash the cheetos off of it?  Say what you want, but it will be nearly three years by the time we play SJF next year that you have beaten us...I bet that stings a little...

We have more of a leg to stand on then your ridiculous arguement over how a 7-3 Fisher team could get in.  We didn't make it...it happens.  I am still excited about having a chance to play one more game and a shot at a 16-5 record over the past two seasons.  We have a lot to build on...

I think you are, as they say on the coffee commercials, "...filled to the brim!" Once Boltus and Phelan are gone your password probably won't work to get on the damn board. Just playin but seriously this Wick stuff has to end. They have no beef and not a valid complaint for not making it. I can tell you exactly when and how Wick was clearly eliminated from a bid.....SPRINGFIELD.

What about the fact NEFC got two teams over the E8, LL, and NJAC.... Thats a JOKE

Well said BoSox we are all in the same boat here. It is absolute BS to me and I think the committee will see when both teams lose first round games next week. Making that point though makes me feel like a hypocrite because of the LL's lack of NCAA success. When I look at regional rankings and AFCA rankings I just don't get how the NEFC gets the respect that it gets?????? I know about winning percentage etc etc are are people ****ing blind? And I don't mean any disrespect towards NEFC players. I respect them as student athletes and feel they are improving. Yet they are just not at the level of play that they are seemingly getting rewarded for. Two teams is crazy when you only have one from LL, NJAC, and E8. I am clearly annoyed here, I think we all are. Plus I think if Wick is a much better team this year than Curry and would not make the mistake of losing to them again. Who knows it is frustrating to say the least.

fisheralum91

yanks- that waspretty good- and you know what you may be right.
the fact remains that hartwick may have had a nfl qb and never made the ncaas- and no lack of respect-- that is really too bad- actually a shame

I think Hartwick fans have an argument although its not a shocker they didnt get it either.

My biggest thing about this year is that from top to bottom, the teams in the "power conferences" (LL, E8, NJAC, MAC) were the best I have seen in a long time.  There were probably only 1  easy win n each conferences for the top 5 teams (except for the MAC where there were no easy wins.  Most years there are 3-4 really bad teams in these conferences. I mean, look at the MAC?  What would Currys record have been in the MAC?  I doubt they would be 9-1  And although I dont think the top 3 teams in the NJAC are world beaters, the 3-6 teams are solid and could win the NEFC in my opinion.  Thats the problem I have in letting Curry in.

No its not -

Here's what you should learn (which I know is tough for most Sox fans):

1 - if you want to get in, then don't schedule cup cakes for non division games.
2 - win your conference and don't leave it up to someone elses decision.

your points here having nothing to do with what i said?  I said I dont think the NEFC should get two teams over E8, LL, NJAC... and youre talking about wick.... and by the way what i should learn???  I have heard that for two years from everyone else on this board so you didnt really enlighten me there... nice sox fan reference... thats was good... you must have been up all night thinking of that

Yanks, c'mon, you know Curry is not the 3rd best team in that conference. Not making the conference championship doesn't mean they weren't better than the team from the crappy division (forgot the name). If we followed your logic to its absurd end, in two weeks we'd be saying that Missouri is better than three of these four: Texas, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, Oklahoma State. We know that's not true.

As I've said, I don't agree with using Curry's win over Hartwick. But it happened and you can't tell me otherwise. Hartwick wasn't in the conversation due to the SC loss. That's all I'm saying.

I think that Wick was in the coversation...loss to SC or not.  RPI, Rowan, Montclair, Wick, and Curry were all in the conversation.  Curry got it this year.  I just think the other 4 teams had a better arguement.

Also, I don't know that Curry was the second best team.  I don't know how they would do in the NEFC Bogan Division.  Maybe they would have won, maybe not.

i waited a bit before i said anything - wanted to see if the wick fans would react the way i thought they would.
well they did so here is a quick response.
you didnt make the ncaas with boltus - probably the most talented d3 quarterbackive seen-enjoy being stuck in limbo for the forseeable future --- as your shot was wasted.

I bet you hope so...especially being in Oneonta as much as you are...

Actually they did make the ncaas with Boltus

JU...that is all we were saying.  I am not shocked we didnt get in.  Disappointed, but not shocked. Again, if we had taken care of business we would have been watching the selection show today simply waiting to see who we would play.  I just think the E8, the NJAC, the LL, and the MAC are very, very tough conferences....very tough.  No easy games...no gimmies.  We beat the hell out of each other all year long, and I just don't agree that out of those 4 conferences not one second place team made it...and two teams got in for the NEFC, including one that didn't make their conference championship game.  Folks can argue all they want about Wick not "deserving" it...and that is fine...its their opinion, I will just happen to disagree.  I just think the East could have been represented better with a second place team from one of the four conferences mentioned above.

It took long enough for a Hartwick Poster to say this... Geesh!  I thought I was going to have to do it.

I figured that's what you meant since just getting in really means nothing anymore -- See Plymouth and Curry.
