So what do we actually know about Dem Spicy Boyz?

I know they play in the gawd-awful NEFC, lost to Plymouth State, and beat Hartwick last year.  But that is it.

What specifically do they do?  Any star players? etc.

TGP, you do some pretty deep analysis before games.  Any memory of your prep for last year's DSB-Bart game in the second round?

Curry wants to run your standard I-pro with 1 wideout and two tight ends.  They like to push around teams with this offense.

But they have been running a lot of 1-back 4 wide with the qb right under center (no shotgun).  Pretty simple offense with some big olinemen and some fast Wrs.  They want to spread you out and block 5 on 6 with the one back.  The QB can run, and he runs some boot and play action. They are well coached but dont have the quickness and altheticism to match up with the better teams.

Defensivly they have been running your standard 4-3.  Decent size with the LBs and secondary and they can tackle back there, but again, lacks the athleticism to compete with better teams.  They are also smaller defenseivly up on the dline and bigger teams should be able to run the ball against them.

OUCH.  In the words of an educated observer of upstate college football, that is the ECAC equivalent of kicking Fisher in the nuts.  In 72 hours they went from a PAT away from the dance to a 10-hour bus ride
