If IC can stay on a roll, they will have an 8 game winning streak going into the MUC game.   Pretty similar to SJF's run in 2006.  Last year they had to face off in Round 1 ag MUC, this year they would have an opportunity to get some play-off momentum going first.  Problem is, MUC usually pounds you harder in a 're-match'...just ask SJF 2007 play-off team.   All-in-all, I think IC can hang if they are determined.  They have a strong, solid running game.  Need that to battle MUC.  Obviously must limit turnovers.  Must beat Curry first!

haha i like where this conversation is headed, also very nice additons to the poll....if i hadnt voted already i would surely vote because they won 6 games and lost 4 as the main reason why they went 6-4.....

Side note, I really hope Ithaca can make it deep enough to play Mount Union.  With the roll they have been on I think it can be a really close game, iffffff their defense is up to the task.  I think offensively Ithaca can hang some points on MUC, lord knows Fisher could have if it weren't for that whole we just couldn't seem to score on them thing....It is the same kind of logic best expressed by Flight of the Conchords - "The only things that's stopping you from being with me is that you don't want to be with me."

I think IC's offense could put up some points on MUC. They have a great O-line. I feel though, the lack of a consistent pass rush would do them in. But hey, you never know, right? First things first though. Continue where SJF left off undoing the work of Team Boltus and prove that the E8 is better than the terrible teams in New England. Then, we got to handle the Dragons again. Only then will it be time for operation "Bring Hell to Alliance, Part II"

If you want to beat MUC you must hit Kmic and do not let him get yards after first hit. Thats where Fisher has always failed. Controling Kmic is the key.
