Ithaca guys, we can't be complaining about the lack of protection from the O-Line on one hand, and then complain about the lack of throwing downfield on the other. In order to throw downfield, the QB needs protection. The two are quite co-dependant.

My karma takes a two-point hit for that comment? NICE! It seems that either a) we have officially entered the "Say anything that could conceivably be construed as anti-Ithaca and you will pay for it" phase of the season, or b) the LL guys have had enough of Bombsaway and they're hammering everyone's karma. Either way, good times all around.

Secondly, Tecmo, we can't just be brushing off this Alfred team. Sure, we can make the "they have never beat us" argument until we're blue in the face. However, for that matter, Fisher had never even given us a close game (don't tell me 30-20 at Fisher was a close game when it was 30-3 with 9 mins left) when they should have upset us at Butterfield in 2003. I think it could be a painful lesson if IC rolls into Merrill Field thinking they can play a bad game and walk out with a win.

Luckily, I think the Bombers come to play every week.

I will also restore a Karma for you!  Now let's see how quickly it goes down again...or mine goes down...lol.

Feeling good after witnessing a Saxon Stomp at Merrill Field...first half all AU...35-0 with 300+ yards to 17 for the Cadets....even if seen from the press box doing color commentary with famous WLEA 1480-AM sportscaster and former Saxon Bob Codispoti rather than with a sparse but nevertheless spirited and effective AU Pep Band.

You can watch ICTV online, and the Gridiron Report is replayed periodically throughout the week.  They used to have a schedule on their website which you can check out, but I don't think there are any archived broadcasts.

real quick after looking at the rankings... Rowan lost to Robert Morris , http://www.robert-morris.edu/OnTheMove/findoutmore.about_rmu?ipage=861, a D1 I assume.  Now because Rowan lost to a large school like Morris, 21-0, they get props... If Ithaca were to schedule say, Cornell, and win, what would that do for them playoff wise??? would it have any impact if they still had a two loss season, assuming they did not win the E8?? any implications on a C bid??

Long weekend that was mercifully sans Bucs for JoseQ.  Four quick thoughts:

1) Alfred over Ithaca is an upset just like Alfred over Fisher was an upset last year.  IC doesn't take Alfred lightly but, AU only wins if IC plays poorly.  Recent history is a good indicator but, I think this season is an even better indicator.  AU is slightly down from last year.  They will be better by the time we see them but too much will be on the line.  Also, IC rarely looks past its pre-Cortaca opponent and stumbles.  More common was for IC to be terrible the week after Cortaca (in those five years or so when they moved the game up to the second to last week of the season).  Closest AU really has come to beating IC was in the 2002 opener before the coaching staff realized that Felicetti was the man and Steeberg was a LB.

2) Fisher guys, don't get bent out of shape that we want Hartwick to win.  We need you guys to get an E8 loss now.

3) C-State, keep it in the garage buddy.  You have been getting nothing but respect (albeit through gritted Bomber teeth) on this board.

4) What do we make of Brockport now?  Sounds like we weren't great and still dominated them.  Do we just chalk the margin of victory up to whatever team rule kept Lynch from playing?  Also, what about the OL getting handled by our DL?  Weren't they supposed to be bigger than Fisher up front?
