jim is a really nice kid- a true reflection of his parents- just great ppl.
as much as it is going to hurt losing both tim and jim- i am impressed with the upcoming wide outs.
they are young - but have talent and look hungry

wow- too bad we wont have the fisher crew in the booth- would have liked to listen to that on sat.
what time is kickoff?

will there be a link on the sjfc page?

I think there might be a link, but I am not quite sure at this point.   Kickoff is at 12:00.   I thought maybe WHTK would have sprung for the Madden Crusier and provided a Turduken for the trip..... Well, I can't wait until MUC is in Pittsford next September.   Start counting down the days...

I cant wait either, hopefully we see more of this:

and less of this:

OK Upstate...I have heard much from you this year that I cant stand, but I know your roots are firmly with the program as are mine so I always step back and take your posts with a grain of salt...

This post however is actually.................................FUNNY.................for once.

Its good to hear some humor from ya instead of all the other stuff.

It's unfortunate that there will be no TV feed for this weekend's IC/Curry playoff game. I was hoping to hook it up to the flat-screen. I'm guessing that no TV is the result of one, both or a combination of a) students didn't want to stick around the extra day before Thanksgiving Break started today, and/or b) they figured there would be a Cortaca 2.0 next weekend and they would rather come back early and broadcast that game.

Disclaimer: This is not a knock on ICTV or any of the coverage by the Ithaca student media. I think Ithaca is among the best D3 schools, if not the best, at the job their student media does covering the college's sports. Where else would you hear women's soccer games or field hockey games covered on the radio?

Yeah, I'd imagine it's tough to find kids...it's unfortunate because IC used to have classes that monday and tuesday and they probably would have had the kids there back in the day. Any word on if the radio is doing it? I'd think they would, since they only need two kids and an engineer, but who knows who stuck around? Guess it's Butterfield or bust.

The TV coverage has been excellent all season. They've got a new guy in charge of it now, and he's done a great job.

Cortland.

I will agree however that IC's Park School and student broadcasters are great.  Excellent program.

Also, I wonder if there is an NCAA rule prohibiting the local broadcast of a NCAA playoff game. I'm not sure if there's a rule or not, just throwing it out there. Pat may know that one.

Cortland game is video webcast and radio WXHC.  Don't know about NCAA restrictions...wouldn't surprise me.  they have some of the most ridiculous rules.

See, this is what happens when IC goes 14 years between home playoff games. Legal questions abound on the message boards.

Anyone else think it's a bit unfortunate that the timing of these games is right on Thanksgiving break? I hope there's a good crowd at IC tomorrow, because, after 14 seasons, they deserve one. Guess we're dependant on the townies though.

the schools do a good job, but I wish the local TV media (especially in NY) would have greater support for D3 football...  I don't even live in NY anymore but I'd rather follow D3 football than Cuse, Buffalo, Albany... etc.  Time Warner Albany does the Shoes game every year, and they did broadcast the RPI semi final game in 2003... just wish it was all home games that got the good treatment.

There's no prohibition against video feeds but there is a little paperwork.

Is it because of the travel implications?
