Home field doesn't mean crap here unless you get up for the game.

And this is a serious question here.  What is Curry's record if they are in the E8?  Im saying they win 4 games.

Probably...

Its easier to take down a team from a strong conference in a one shot deal, but put Curry on the E8's schedule and eventually they'll get worn down and injuries would take their toll...

...And the Brockport/Hartwick game today was a fun one to watch. Seems like none of these two teams dressed their defenses.

Does Hartwick have a D?

Two teams scored 69+ pts vs them this year...
They have D, they just dont have any kind of run defense As we seen in all 3 of their losses this year.

they gave up 630yds and 70 pts today, there is no way you can say they have a Defense...

540 of those yards were rushing yards.

sorry but RT can't help but laugh listening to someone defend a defense that got some prison love to the tune of 70 points and 630 yds of offense. Is Brockport even good? ....they gave up 68 points and WON...BOL!!

Im not defending them, they played horrible defense 3 times this year. Today they didnt show up on that side of the ball at all. 364 rushing yards in the first half by one player is not acceptable at all.

HHawks

And currys a decent team. If you dont come at them with your A game this is what happens.

then the Hartwick coach should have his head examined. I mean, if you're getting that embarassed on the ground, run 8 or 9 men in the box until they throw on you. It's science....

Ive seen them.  Curry is tough.  .

I usually agree with you JU, but not here... Curry is weak. Fisher beat the ish out of the same team last year. Ithaca simply did not play like they could / should have.

this one should not have been close.

Tags,  I would respect your opinion if you have seen Curry a bunch of times this year and offer me an opinion about them.  But Im not sure if you have.  I played in games (d3) against the top teams in the country.  The best defense Ive ever played against was an NEFC team you have never even heard of.  It was a 1996 Worcester St. team that went undefeated against NEFC competition and might have suprised teams if they would have made the playoffs.

If SJF played a game in front of 10,000 people last year for a playoff spot the outcome might have been different.  Also, not sure if you knew but a lot of those Curry players are back.

Emotion goes a long way in football........that is what makes it such a great sport.

You don't have to respect it ju. Just because I didn't play d3 football, doesn't mean ithaca shouldn't have put curry down today.

you can say what you want - curry isn't  better than IC 99% of the year. Tell me IC played their best and maybe I'll concede.

EDIT:

Also, it was at Butterfield. There should be no excuse for this one.

Im not saying you had to have played d3 football.  But you should at least see Curry live.  Im disapointed, but Im not too suprised that this happend today.

obvioulsy IC didnt play their best if they didnt have their #1 QB and RB in the game.

And I dont want to say that IC wasnt a better team.  I just hate when people crap all over nefc teams and players when they have never seen them play.

I disagree, I think they could compete in the E8. If they were in the E8 this season I think they would of beat, utica, springfield and norwich, and played Everyone else really close and winning half of them.

RT just reread that post...364 yds in the FIRST HALF by one guy??? Are you kidding me? That is so atrocious that it's funny. RT wouldn't think that Adrian Peterson would have 364 yds in one half in an E8, LL, NEFC, or NJAC game and RT is being serious. When do ya think you start to run goal line in the first half?...when he has 150 yds?...200? WTF.
Also, the players should be a little embarassed too. That has to be some kind of D3 or ECAC record.

This has been going on for awhile now, I think its deeper than the defensive coordinator.

Yes he had 364 yards in the first half. and 420 for the game, 13 short of a NCAA record.

RT thinks he can commute from Saratoga to Oneonta 3 days/week and coordinate defense for 'Wick part time and give up less than 34/game...or at least hold B'port under 45 points in one game. RT would bet his 401k on that one-game scenario....
