What a terrible day for the E8 and it all occurred on my watch.  I am therefore relinquishing my commissionership. immediately.  My deepest apologies to the conference, the teams, the fans and the E8PP.  My since hope is that my successor will be able to pick up the pieces and restore the conference to a place of honor in the region and the country.

it's not like AU got manhandled in Troy, NY or anything like that...nothing to be ashamed of the effort by the Saxon's. That pass interference on 3 and goal from the 12 that gave RPI a new set of downs and the chance to take the lead late in the game is what killed you. Your D picked of Robertson twice inside your own 25 or it could've gotten ugly. The Saxons proved to be a worthy opponent and it was a great, albeit cold, match up. Hey....we couldn't let RPI put '86 field to bed once and for all with a loss!!

RT votes for an AU/RPI home and home series....

And I thought Hartwick defense had a bad day.

In record-setting fashion, the No. 2-ranked Abilene Christian University Wildcats defeated the No. 9-ranked West Texas A&M Buffaloes in the NCAA Division II Playoffs, with a score of 93-68. The Wildcats scored an NCAA Playoff record 93 points and ACU running back Bernard Scott scored an NCAA Playoff Record seven touchdowns in the victory.

kind of funny...RT noticed that the vote for the "IC lose to DSB" has gotten a few votes since the end of the game....wow, bunch of geniuses here in the E8 room...lol

If Buffalo doesnt win today the collective psyche of WNY will be at an all time low...

Sabres-5 game losing streak and look like crap
Bills-5 game losing streak (if they lose today) and have been looking like crap for a decade

Hide the razors!!!

Wow, two years in a row now the E8 champ has gotten slapped in the first round. . .

To all you IC'ers who were crowing about Cortica Jug II - you were warned not to look ahead.

Now, due to Wick and IC both letting the Conference down, I doubt the E8 will get an at large bid again.

Clearly, the only team that knows how to get a W in the post season would be its rightful power and champion - St. John Fisher.

The only team this year to get a win for the E8 yet again, is SJF.

Alfred, Hartwick and Ithaca all went down this year.

IC and Wick went last year in the first round as well.

Great job.

Ithaca please don't lose to curry. Last year Hartwick was looking forward to St. John Fisher part 2, and got Smacked in the mouth for it.

Thanks for all of that SJF Fan, because it was so needed.  Your insight is invaluable.

You know that Ithaca has won national championships right?  What a stupid post the whole thing was.
