I would just like to comment on the 'Wick brockport game on Saturday.  This was an absolute shootout....neither team had a prayer at stopping the other teams offense.  The brockport runningback who was bigger than any player Hartwick had on the field on defense was tremendous running behind a line of several 300 pounders.  The Wick size disadvantage was tremendous.  However, Boltus and the boys still scored 68 points in the bitter cold despite snowy and windy conditions.

I consider myself lucky to have watched this kid for the past 4 years and I wish him the best of luck in the NFL.  He should go down as one of the greatest E8 or D3 players of all time and it will be a shame if he does not get the Melberger and Gagliardi this year.

Good luck to the 'Wick next year but if they dont get some beef up front they are going to be staring a very bad season in the face.

Good luck in the NFL?... dont jinx em...  I hope he gets a chance but lets not have him replacing Donovan McNabb just yet...

Yeah and Ithaca would also be playing next week too!  That was a dumb post if I ever saw one.

Dumb?  I was stating that his stats would not be as ridiculous if he played for Ithaca... because Hartwick throws every down and Ithaca does not...

if your going to insult at least be specific or have something witty to say... because 60% of the time that works everytime...

Wow that was a game... Congrats to Boltus, I hope you make it on to the next level.  Can you imagine if he was on Ithaca ??

If he was on Ithaca his stats would be cut in half...

Not quite half but I'd put his reduction in stats around 30%...

I was exhaggerating a bit

NYSGUY

I guess I didnt mean dumb....I agree that his per game stats would not be as good for several reasons...he would have a defense, and a better running game.  However, if Ithaca had him, I am sure they would be passing a lot more than they did historically.  I was saying dumb because your post seemed to be insulting him as if saying that he is merely a system player....sorry for the confusion.

man these 2 are doin more harm than good when it comes to sjfc alums and fans on this board.

gents- bring something to the table without insipid remarks or grandiose claims.

poking the bear isnt a great idea

Whatever you like to do with animals is your business.

You guys are sooooo sensitive and judgmental - for you its understandable being a soccer player and all, but am a little surprised at how thin the skin is for the rest.

I support the program and I want them to win - win all the time, win big, win it all.    As unrealistic as it may be, it comes with being a fan (which is short for fanatic in case your english lingo roots is a little rusty).

And this comment is entirely geared to you, boobey, and others who sit around and say hey its D3, can't we all just get along -- I cannot think of anything more insulting to the players, or those that have played, by making a comment like that - which all of you do.

The game you are playing in, the team you support, is important. Regardless if it is D3, 2, 1AA, or 1.

that's why a score is kept, and winners and losers are declared.

This season was a disappointment on a team specific and a conference level. . .

Show me one post where I implied that division III isn't as important as the higher divisions.  I love division III infinitely more than I do division 1.  You are a fool.  Besides how serious and upset you get is not a barometer for how much of a fan you are.   It doesn't show you have more passion than others who try to be more civil and not have random outbursts that lack merit (like you love to do) it just shows you don't have your priorities in place because it is a sport- nothing more.

To those that put hours upon hours, during the Winter, Spring, and Summer - it is more than just a sport.

Broom ball and other club activities is "just" a sport.

You don't put in the level of dedication that these kids do for something that is "just sport".

Results matter.

I owe you one to SJFF82, sorry dude. Sometimes I get going and realize, wow I just insulted someone in a way that sounds serious. Needless to say I don't think you are any of the names I called you. Those posts were my bad. I still don't think I was hypocritical in giving Curry more credit for the W over Ithaca at Ithaca than when they beat Wick. I understand Wick fans point of view and should have simply responded like a normal human being.

Broomball is more then a sport to some.  Especially me.  And yes I was kicked out of a broomball game.
