If boltus doesn't go NFL, I can see an AFL of AFL 2 team take a shot on him... Maybe the Albany "Firebirds"... I mean Hartwick football=AFL

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

Wow.  I'm not even sure where to start here.

Umm... golf clapping... not me.

You're talking about getting a win in the ECAC's this year like you should get patted on the back.  Sorry.  You beat husson.  AU lost to RPI.  Lose to RPI by 3 versus beating HUSSON by 10?  I'd think the 3 point loss is better.  Sometimes when you win it's still a loss.

Great Ms. drop.  Caught me off guard.

On trying to dismiss a win over Husson - I may be wrong on this, but not sure - I believe their only losses came to D2 schools.

I am still extremely befuddled to hear anyone trying to defend Husson on here.  It really miffs me.  What are you looking at?  What makes them even decent?

Husson's record this year    7-3
Not ONE of those 7 wins came against a team with a winning record.  They ALL had LOSING records! (not even a .500 team in there)
In fact, Husson's wins this year came against teams that combined for a robust 21-47 overall record.

I could see that. Dan Cole, an RPI guy, plays for the Conquest.

I think Husson basically did the same thing the 2nd and 3rd place E8 teams did by beating Utica, Norwich and Springfield pretty good while only losing to SJF by a touchdown or so?  I mean, thats as good as Ithaca did right? (except for the losing to SJF by a touchdown).

I look at their schedule and see a team that you could never overlook for any east team.

It is not a matter of defending Husson - I'm just not dismissing them. Again, while the wins may be questionable (like along the lines of Wick beating up on D3 powers Mt. Ida), there only losses came to D2 schools.

Given their location, it may also be tough to schedule.

So, not defending it, not chest pounding the win, just not willing to dismiss them as if they are any lower class than the other ECACers in '08.

Mt Ida is the only team up there that beat Plymouth State I believe.  And do you even realize how ridiculous you sound acting like Husson is something really special (not dismissing them) compared to Mt Ida?  Any other year you would be sitting here saying they all stink... but since you played Husson now they're ok... beat it

Come on Utah, you know better that that through our discussion on another board.....Fisher approached this game differently.

Bo - learn how to read. I'm not saying, nor have I said that Husson was anything special. I'm simply pointing out the facts- relatively new program, only losses prior to SJF were to D2 schools.

That's not building them up, its just not dismissing them like they don't belong.

Utah - "I think Husson basically did the same thing the 2nd and 3rd place E8 teams did by beating Utica, Norwich and Springfield pretty good while only losing to SJF by a touchdown or so?  I mean, thats as good as Ithaca did right? (except for the losing to SJF by a touchdown)."

1st, sorry i cant quote for crap.
Let me explain why this is ridiculous that you would give Husson ANY credit.  Yes, I am dismissing them as awful.

Husson has had a football team for 6 years now.  They have gotten better each year, but where else could they go?
Husson's record over the past 6 yrs?  23-27.  That's one huge difference between Husson and the top 4 teams in the E8.  The top four teams in the E8 all have better records over that period than Husson and only Hartwick has a losing record over the last 6 yrs. (IC 51-16, SJF 56-16, AU 45-20, Wick 26-33).  Point?  The teams in the E8 have won.

With regards to the 23 wins that Husson has in 6 yrs, NOT ONE OF THOSE WINS HAS BEEN AGAINST A TEAM WITH A WINNING RECORD!  I'm not making that up.  They have NEVER beaten someone with a winning record or even a .500 team.  In fact, the combined records of those teams that Husson has beat in the past 6 yrs is 28-115!  Of those 28 wins, they beat 9 different teams, one of which dropped its football program, and another that it had to play 2x in the same season (Becker) to get 2 of its 3 wins that season.

And Utah... come on.  You're a veteran here.  I would expect such nonsense from a fool like fan or a dwarf still playing, or even a kid that cant spell saterday.  But to compare Husson to the top 3 teams in the E8? and especially its champ IC?  Let me explain further...

The top 4 teams in the E8 all had winning records in conference, leaving only the remaining 3 cellar dwellers.  That means that all 4 of those top tier teams of the E8 all had a win against at least one team with a winning record THIS YEAR.  I remind you, Husson has NEVER done this.
How is Husson different from IC?  wow.  IC had wins against 4 teams this year with a winning record.  SJF had 3 (one of which was Husson and in my book should not count), wick had 2, and AU had 1 (against fisher).

lewdogg11

I swear to god this board is chalk full of half retarded people.  Can't you even get the 'quoting' correct?
