I see a lot of 3rd and 1, 3rd and 2's in Tebow's future. I don't know how much of a QB he will be, but he can be a great short yardage back in the NFL. He may be the best short yardage back in College Football right now.

Not sure I agree.  If he's not at the QB position, then defenses can key in on him a lot more than they do now.  My thought is that if he's in the backfield, he's not going to be able to just duck into the line and push for two yards -- he'll actually need some pure runs from a tailback-type position.  So, this could be interesting -- he might be a one-hit wonder in the NFL like Kordell Stewart was, if he's a hit at all.

I think he should convert to H-Back, like Chris Cooley for Washington.

That's a good point Rossi...Bottom line the guy is an athlete and he will find a home somewhere next year. I think the key will be where he goes, and the system he is put into.

That's a good point Rossi...Bottom line the guy is an athlete and he will find a home somewhere next year. I think the key will be where he goes, and the system he is put into.

I think he will be picked up. In my mind someone has to take a shot on Tebow next year. He is a superb talent and true leader. Regarding his abilities though I think for him to be effective and be more than a back up QB he must throw the ball very very very well in camp. To have any type of success with the QB run in the NFL he must show he can and will throw the ball first and foremost. We shall see, the kid deserves a shot and is a true role model for kids today.

An early Happy New Year to my E-8 buddies!

I will expect a full breakdown on where to go, what to see, and what to expect before we make the journey up to SJF this coming fall.  This will be the first year in the last five that I will not be coaching the youngest in football, so Skunk and I are planning on making the trip up.

I am sure between now and then we will keep each other updated on who's doing what personnel-wise, etc...
