Boltus in NFL combine

Ithaca and Alfred get a shout-out from Gil Brandt:

"Here's what I've seen of him. There's a lot of difference when you are playing Alfred and Ithaca than when you are playing in the National Football League. There aren't too many players who will end up in the National Football League that he played against."

Just wanted to say good luck to Jason Boltus, who is currently at the NFL combine right now.

Its a great honor to have a kid from Hartwick, and the Empire 8 for that matter, represent D-3 on national television. I know it will probably be replayed 1000 times between now and the draft, but the quarterbacks are scheduled to be put on the NFL network on Sunday at 11, 4, and 8. Also, I hear that Boltus will be participating in some drills that are primarially focused on recievers and cornerbacks, so keep an eye out for the guy throwing the passes.

You're the only dood on the board that doesn't know & accept that '57 can't spell.

Poor grammar and horrible spelling... it's just how he rolls.

if you get the chance... try to catch the lifting segment... he is going to crush brady quinns bench record of 24 reps

also he will be doing a lot of the throwing to the TE's and WR's ...

Also i heard in the ESPN First take interview he is going to vocalize his extreme dissapointment for getting snubbed by D3 football.com's all american squads... i guess he just didnt have it...

also... i thinks its funny that ESPN is doing stories on Boltus and D3Football.com isnt...  unless i missed something

Let's see, the majority of the staff for D3football is also the staff for d3hoops.  The regular season is ending for basketball, conference tournaments are gearing up and the NCAA tournament is looming.  I am willing to bet the D3 sports staff is pretty busy with the sports season that is currently running and would probably like to cover Boltus at the combine but don't have the resources.

ok so you have accounted for the last few weeks of basketball ... what about before that?  Its a good story... you would just think  a d3 kid getting invited to the combines would be something they would like to highlight.....

How about this, instead of crying and whining write the story yourself and submit it to Pat for consideration.

Did they do a piece on Allen a couple years ago?

I'm not sure if they did, but if they didn't you have no reason to be bitter about it...

Also is he going there to work out or just throw to the WR's and TE's??

Because if he's going there to throw to the WR's and TE's, there's a pretty good chance that that was the only reason to bring him in...
