Wow you must have done a lot of digging, that was on this board, what, eight pages ago? That's a lot of right-clicking! Gobombers15 and I put aside our differences, can you and I do the same? Well, probably not, because you've gone and gotten a bunch of other people around here annoyed too.


Not going to be posting for a while, have to go for a run on the many, many acres of land that I own. After all, I went to Ithaca! Q.E.D.!

So, besides the Q and Maxs run to power, what else is up.  Bomes isn't a bad guy, he is just misunderstood.  There has been a list of people that have come one here and caused "issues" but they all come around because we accept them for their flaws.  What the heck has the board come to, I am probably the worst temper on here and I am playing peace maker.  Well, forget it, everyone go after eachother, I hate cortland, AU isn't quite there, Fish maybe there, the LL is  lovely conglamerate of wit and sore right forearms and I love the bombers

well I'm gonna run for dictator so I can make sure fisher wins the national championship everyother year, the other years we can have Ithaca win or someone like that so Fisher can have a rivalry

Seems no one really like the bombers but us so stick together.

I observed two shortcomings to IC on that day, and I suspect that they were also evident vs SJF a week ago.  IC ran out of gas and they lack overall team speed, particularly on defense.  If IC is going to get back to the promised land, they need to be able to play 4 quarters against good football teams and they need to get much faster.    

I agree that IC needs to play a full four quarters better than they have in the last year or so. Not sure I'd blame it on "running out of gas," though. Keep in mind, the Bombers had two furious 4th quarter comebacks against Fisher and Cortland, respectively. Basically, I just think the personnel is lacking a little bit on the defensive side of the ball. I'm not going to get into all of the defensive deficiencies that I thought last year's team had (if you want to read about that, check out  my novel a couple days after the Cortaca game), but it came down to a lack of playmakers (sorry, Mr.N, no offense) in the secondary and an inability to rush the passer. That is a bad combination. For further evidence of that, look at my NY Giants this year...they can't rush the passer, nor can they cover anyone.

I agree on some of the points....D-line has to get a "push" on every play......causes  the QB to rush decisions...blah, blah,blah...INT's!

SJF didn't see the same speed I hope we have an opty. to show later this year....
Stephens and Blow-em-up Blumenauer make a significant difference in the entire defensive scheme...

Chier is only getting better with more playing time, Lieber gets some time to "get back on track."  I think what makes me the optimist here.....(other than the CB wearing #31)...is the fact that they travel up to Norwich, bye week, Utica...three weeks to get healthy, get the 3-4 system down pat......

I think they do have speed on defense...It's just not wrecking ball speed ( except for Terlecky-that guy is going to dismantle somebody).....maybe there is still a slight bit of tentative play.....I think they work that out over the next three weeks.....

Q has all the athletic ability in the world and not enough can be said for surviving said Boothroyd.  His room was about as big as he is.  Monet was in there too.  Rob Kramer, E8 player of the week, sadly, picked up for his creepy looking picture.  he is a bit crazy looking, maybe he should be a fullback with that crazy look in his eye.  Lumpy knows you need ot be nuts to play that
