+k FA.

Speaking of corny football things that actually end up getting you pumped up, a friend of mine in UF's Athletic Department passed along this little video montage they made for the players and fans to get pumped for the 2009 season.

2009 Fisher 5 wins 4 losses. Really, were are the easy games.

i took no real exception to your post until these half-baked ideas were posited.  Really 5-4, now that is not very realistic for a team that has won at least 7 games the past 6 or 7 seasons.  Nor is it the optimism that the rest of your post cries for!

And if you are looking for the easy games, check the 1990's schedule for that...Vosburg has always maintained that "we will play the best and beat the best someday"  We have climbed the Brockport rung, the UR rung, the Ithaca rung, the Rowan rung, and now we are attempting to climb the final rung of this program's ascension.  I am sure you will be crowding that rung if the stunner is pulled off tomorrow, so maybe you wanna climb back on the bandwagon before 7pm tomorrow night just in case

BTW pg04, I meant nothing by the order of the rungs ;D

Ha -- Well, the ordering was probably almost correct, although I'd put the Brockport rung above the UR one  ;).  Honestly, I wish they'd drop the Frostburg game and start playing Fisher again... It's a nice close "rivalry"

exactly what I was thinking after i posted it...for 2 reasons...we beat them before we port Port I am pretty sure, plus 'Port is and has clearly been the better program for the past 15 years I would argue.

so nobody else wants to help me tear down the port-a-potties when SJF pulls off the stunner tomorrow :D  Dont blame you....it could get messy!

SJFF82

oooooh baby.....gotta get after those Purple Raiders!

Obviously, every coach wants to win every game, but coaches also have to keep things in perspective. Optimism is good, but if you get your kids too high, what happens if they lose?

The E8 is going to be very good this season, and we all know MUC is going to be extremely difficult.  Salisbury will be a tough road game. Of course, it's possible SJF could go undefeated, but it's extremely unrealistic. Heck, I think it's unrealistic to think any team in the E8 can run the table, given the schedules the likely Top 3 face.

SJF will come to play and I'm sure there will be no shortage of leaders on the team. They've got as good a chance as Ithaca and Alfred to win the E8, and I'd have to say, while admitting I'm no SJF expert, that the expectations Vosburg has are quite reasonable.

As for tomorrow, I'll be there and hoping for an upset. In the past few years SJF, Ithaca and Cortland have all shown that they can play MUC tough up in Alliance--certainly better than almost everyone else excpet for UW-W. Now here's hoping the Cardinals pull it off so we can dispense with the East is weak nonsense and keep MUC out of the region come playoff time

Hey Everyone. Looking forward to another good year in the E8. Being a Rochester local I am looking foward to the SJF/Mount Union Game this weekend. As much as it pains me to say this,  ;) I am hoping SJF gives them a rough time. Go E8..

Go Bombers!

Pep scooped the official AU announcement on this to me in text over the weekend, but I didn't want to jinx it by posting it to the E8PP.  But now it has been confirmed:

"Dear AU community,
Though some of you may already know, we are pleased to announce that the Merrill Field bleachers have been repaired and are ready for use. We hope to see you in the stands at our 2009-10 Saxon Athletics games!"

On Saxon Warriors!
