Well it is good to see that Syracuse Football has not changed much. First snap of Paulus's football career, the snap goes over his head, and 15 seconds later, 7-0 Minnesota

I know it may not show on the scoreboard today but I think SJF has a better team than last year...

sjfcards

I could not agree more. I think they will be much better than last year, and I really think they can win the E8. Maybe it is wishful thinking, but I think they have the pieces to do it. I said last year that they were two years away from their big year, but maybe they will show up one year early.
GO FISHER!!!

They got off to a bad start on their first two possessions as special teams miscues led directly to 14 pts for MUC...

The run game looks smoother, they were getting good push on plays and Bailey looks to have a better pocket presence...

They are just not at MUC's level.  I give them credit for doing something that other NY teams wouldn't dare to do...

Kazoo,

Thanks for the update.  Any info as to the quality of UM-D?

Hello to all fellow posters and a tip of the hat to a new season.

SJF guys can be proud of their team but I think a first game loss out of conference really has hurt AU a couple of times in getting the respect they may have been due even though AU didn't win the conference. Obviously playing MU isn't the same as losing to Washington and Lee or Ursinus, so things probably will still turn out well for SJF.

Best wishes to all teams and hopes that no serious injuries affect the season.

Not many teams are. It is almost like watching the Varsity play the JV team when Fisher plays them. They are just a little bigger, a little faster, and have some more talent. It all adds up to a 52-10 loss for Fisher. I think Fisher could have kept the game a little closer, but not much they could do about the final outcome. MUC was just too much.
GO FISHER!!!
