Now that you mention it I did not notice much of the intensity that usually goes with a college football game. I think a lot if it had to do with being down 14-0 before the game ever really got going, but maybe there is some more to it. When I watched the scrimmage against Morrisville, my wife mentioned a few times that MO'ville seemed a lot more excited to be on the field than Fisher.
Maybe part of the problem is that Fisher is now expected to win games, and that pressure is making them think more than play. I hope they can get some intensity going forward now that the real season can begin.

Yeah the bad punt snap that led to 7 and the bad punt that gave them a short field took all the wind out of their sails in the first 5 minutes of the game...

They had a .001% chance after that bad snap and after the bad punt the chances of hell freezing over than being able to recover from the 14-0 hole...

To say you had a .001% of winning a game after 1 bad play is silly.  If a team truly feels this way (which I don't believe the SJF players did), you should be playing tiddly-winks instead of football.....regardless of the opponent.

U89...you are probably stretching the point a bit...I think he merely meant that chances of winning were slim and snapping the first punt over the head of the Punter to be recovered at the 7 yd line for quick 2 play drive leading to a TD, made their chances slim to none....i think most would agree with that when you are facing MUC.

anybody know how to get rid of the poll i started....clearly there are many monday morning qb's and in any event the poll is obviously meaningless now.

At least I didnt have to worry about soiling myself tearing down the port-a-potties ;D

You should probably have a Remove Poll button at the bottom of the page.

Gettin excited about this weekend. I am really interested to see how Fisher shows against a team with presumably much less talent than the team they played last week. I think this is a big swing game for the rest of the year. If they look impressive and really roll, then I think they can get it going and have a big season. If they come out slow, and struggle to put Buff State away, well we may be looking at another season like last year.

Obviously the IC/Union game is the big one of the weekend. I will take IC by 10 in that one. I am pulling for a good clean game that the bombers can come out on top in. It is always a big game when a team that should be up toward the top of one league takes on a similar team in another conference. I think the E8 is a superior conference to the Liberty league, but this weekend should give a good idea of that balance.
GO FISHER!!!

When you do it vs Mt Union it's not silly, it's reality...

If it was any other team in the East Region it wouldn't apply...

Looks like Bergerstock is 100% and will start Saterday.  That is good news for the Bombers.

Ruggerio (sp.?) did just fine at Merrill Field last year...IC has RBs galore! Pep saw Bergerstock when IC clobbered Utica at Butterfield last year.

Will be interested to see what the Bombers do at Frank Bailey.
