Now that I have had a chance to sleep on what I saw from Fisher I am obviously very happy. I think Fisher had a good gameplan and took advantage of IC's weak lines on both sides. The AU game is huge now, but they have some real tough tests ahead with Utica, SC on the road, and Hartwick who is always tough on Fisher. This Fisher team is obviously far from perfect, so I can see some slip ups in there if they continue to be up and down from week to week. If they play with the intensity and gamplan that they had this week, they should be favored in all of the games, with the exception of maybe the AU game. I know AU is good, but I don't think they are going to be 40-17 (and it was not really that close) better than IC. I think Fisher and IC are a little closer than that score as well, so that game becomes really interesting.

Here is the big warning...Utica next week looks like a huge trap game to me. Fisher coming off a big road win against IC, and AU coming in the following week, and a much improved Utica team really scares me. Hopefully the Fisher coaches have the teams radar up for the upset alert.

I'm not overly concerned with UC just yet.  They are making great strides but they don't have the horses yet and trust me Blaise is going to get them.  They came out blazing to start but have been a little inconsistent lately.

I think SJF takes control of the game early.  It shouldn't have been a game last year as SJF had a 360 to 73 advantage in total yards, however miscues with that spread by SJF kept the game close.  It's not going to be a 62-0 score however it's also not going to be a one score game either like last year's 17-10 game.

35-13 SJF under the lights!

Oh if I was SJF i'd just line up in double tight and run the ball all day.  The O-line responded big time from the poor performance at Salisbury.  Also, if Zemaitis isn't the starter from here on out I'd be disappointed, he should have been the starter from day one this year.

Dood, you don't need to post this on every board in the East region every time.  The NJAC and maybe the ERFP boards but that is all.  We all read all the boards and will check it out if we want to.
-K for being annoying.

Supes, welcome back -K.

The funny thing is that the one board hammond didn't post that on was the Fan poll one.    Every one of hammond's posts has had something to do with that website.  Do you have anything else to add other than spamming the message board?

Greetings all posters,

As it turns out I may now be able to attend the Fisher  game after all.  Can anyone update potential visiting fans if their are now any visiting stands from which one may see the game from a seated position.  It is more important to me since I had a stroke last year.  That makes it very difficult to stand for any length of  time.  I cannot bear sitting on the home side.

Go Saxons.

Unfortunately nothing new on the away side. Your best bet is to get to Growney early and just get the best seat available. The home side is rarely full, and offers a much better view of the game. That would be my suggestion, but I can understand why sitting on the home side is tough.

If they still haven't made a change in the visitors bleacher situation at Growney, Pep invites you to join him with the band on the home side (left end when facing the grandstand). A number of years ago, Pep attended a Brockport-Fisher game at Growney and most Brockport fans occupied that end of the grandstand rather than attempt to watch from behind their team bench. In 2005, Pep had the band sit there, with no resistance. Any Fisher fans in the neighborhood were "neighborly."

Hmmm
just checked the updated top 25.
no love for the e8 that is for sure.
figured that AU would have cracked the top 25.

perhaps next week?

I feel like AU may be the class of the entire east region this year, but it can be tough to crack the top 25 when you are not a team that is around the top 25 year in and year out. Don't worry about AU, if they keep winning they will get there. I am sure they would all take a full season without entering the top 25 if they keep winning week after week.

Fish91,

I guess you mean prep week as Fisher has had for the past few or more years?

Screw the extra week off, if you win the game it's because you had the extra rest...If you lose it's because you came out rusty from not playing the week before.  You guys at Alfred are more than welcome to have that "luxury"  for all I care.

And just so we are clear I'm not saying that is what Alfred will say after this year, that's just the go to logic that every team uses when dealing with victory or defeat the week after a bye.

Booby,  I have always thought you were pretty cool.  I think you should know by now, most exhibited by Pep, that the AU posters don't play the excuse game.  May the better team win.  Would like to see you at the game.  Best wishes.

I generally love the bye week simply because it gives teams a chance to get healthy. Fisher looked much better yesterday than they did two weeks earlier. I am sure the AU posters will be realistic about what happens in two weeks at Growney.
