Pep recalls his high school days when World Series games were always played during the days. It was part of American culture. Pep's school set up a 25" TV on a cart in the cafeteria where students could watch the championship of "America's Pasttime." Pep can't remember whether the TV was color, but Pep DOES remember that the theme song for the senior prom was "Color My World."

Does UC have anyone Fisher should be worried about? I really have not had a chance to watch them play yet, so all I have to go on is scores.

Good point! +K

...and what about Curt FitzPatrick?

and George Penree, etc.

Utica doesn't have a chance.  SJF wins 55-0.  And it will be 51-0 at the half.

Why are they even playing a game? Heck, Fisher ought to just make hotel reservations for Alliance right now

Although Utica has made great strides, there is just no way in hell they can stop Fisher's running game. Not to mention Utica's WRs will be smothered--smothered!!

Utaca will never beat SJF.  Never.  Write it down.

Wow Jonny didn't knew you felt that way...

But in all seriousness, UC will get a win vs IC or SJF in the next 2-3 years...

Dont know what your talking about.  Im a SJF fan.  Big blowout this weekend for the better program (SJF).  55-0 SJF.  I think the SJF JV team should show up.

Here's something I've been wondering.  Alfred's two bye weeks occurred when Ithaca was playing at Wick and Utica at Fisher with Alfred playing the home team in each of those contests the next week, respectively.  I assume that the Alfred coaching staff made the trip to Oneonta and will be in Pittsford tomorrow allowing them to scout the 4 conference teams that hadn't played during their byes.  Does scouting the games in person provide an advantage over film (I would assume it does) and, if so, what is that additional insight worth?

+K for an awesome question.  I would like to know the answer to that myself.

73 is a visual person - loves maps, graphs etc.  I would think that film or video is advantageous as one can go back over and over any particular play or aspect to get a total picture of the fleeting moments.  So much goes on so quickly that, in person you can't know what you are misssing.  ???

There is definitely an incredible amount of value in studying tape and Alfred will likely spend just as much time watching tape for the Fisher game, but I would assume there is value in watching the game live since you can view what's happening on the entire field instead of just where the camera is aimed.  Plus, you can strategize on what plays you'd call in each situation in real time.
