agreed.
i do like zemaitis- tho lets not crown him just yet.
rob was the best i saw.

i do agree use zemaitis early- set up the play action
we need a solid game from the wr's this week.
no drops.
i am rather happy that bailey has been rather mistake free thus far-
this could be a shoot out.

I'm not saying he is better, Robby was one of the best players to come out of SJF...

As of now he's not the all around back that Robby was, Robby was so good in the pass game.  Not just receiving but his pass blocking and route running as well...

The fact that he's drawing comparisons, not just from us but from other coaches speaks to this kids potential...

He has the potential to be a Mark Robinson type player for the Cardinals and that's very exciting considering how great Robby was...

Now if we can only find a Fehrenbach, Fortune, Lang and Stepnick out there again!

Ha, it's only Monday and already it has begun.  I can't wait!

Yeah that was pretty good...

On the other side of the equation, you guys are only 1 win away from Tags coming back out of the woods!

What you really mean to say is that we are a decision by the NCAA away that would allow Mark Robinson to keep playing from Tags coming back out of the woods...

True.  And we only need another trip to Copenhagen before Deuce comes back on...

dlip is looking sooooooooo forward to the SJF/Alfred match-up this weekend. It will tell us a lot about the E8, the East, and what may be to come for our region around playoff time. dlip does not know whom to root for though. ****in hard to decide. dlip respects both teams a ton...hummmmmmm..regardless, a great ****in game this Saturday.

fisheralum91

Fisher's special teams are one play away from costing this team their entire season.

I have been to the IC and UC games, and this is what I have witnessed:

2 missed PAT's, one returned for 2pts
1 blocked FG
1 missed FG
1 fumbled punt attempt resulting in a TD
1 fumbled punt return
2 on-side recoveries against
several short kick-offs....

and this is not including the MUC game in the first 6 mins where Fisher botched 2 other punts.

Seriously...do they have anyone coaching specs in Pittsford, or do they just skip that part of practice to admire the weight room that the Bills (speaking of specs...) built.

I see that there is a poll on here devoted to the East...is that run by Pat Coleman?

Nope, a dude from Brockport compiles the info.

ok...thanks

special teams this year has been horrible for fisher.
i had hoped that they would have ironed the bumps out by now- but lets hope it doesnt become the deciding factor on saterday.

I'm rooting for Fisher this week, just so we can maybe get two E8 teams in the playoffs. They can be dominating at times, but also, lethargic. The IC game was a perfect example. The first half showed them unable to finish drives and make the special teams plays. The second half showed how dangerous they can be. They'll need 60 minutes like that against the Saxons

I'd like to see two E8 teams in the playoffs too..... but what I'm really hoping for is for Alfred to show us they are the real deal. Rather have the East repped by one great team than two good ones. Imagine if MUC was given three good games in four years by E8 teams.... or if they lost one...  :o

I wouldn't mid that scenario  ;D

On a completely unrelated note, my brother-in-law works at Mississippi College and can see the football field from his house (really it's the college's house that he helps maintain) and it took my email today to inform him that the Choctaws beat the Cru on Saturday.  However, so long as I'm not at Game 6 this Saterday, I plan on wearing my MC hat to Growney and hoping for some of their magic to transfer to the Saxons!
